Yes, I agree. This show's narrative structure is so weak. I love the idea and the characters and their issues are very intriguing, but the way the show waited until the penultimate episode to explore all that.... ugh. I don't mind when the main couple doesn't get together until the very last episode but the way these two have been dancing around each other was frankly quite boring up until now.

I loved this episode. But before it came so many where literally nothing happened and it's a bit frustrating, because this episode showed, at least for me, that this series can also deliver when it comes to emotional/dramatic tension.

The kabedon made cringe so hard. XD like wtf..... it wasn't even the sexy kind of kabedon, it was just weird and came out of nowhere.

I was thinking the same thing. How curvy you are definitely does not define how attractive you are I have had skinny and curvy girlfriends and I found all of them attractive.
Also, Jin isn't even actually chubby. He has round-ish face, but that's about it.

On every episode of this show, someone is drunk as a skunk. Why? It feels like I am watching the same episode over and over again. A bunch of borderline alcoholics are trying to date each other.

Bbomb needs to ditch his friends... the tonic thing was so dumb, I had to pause the episode for a while.

I really loved that you couldn't really tell what he was actually after right until the end when he gave him his lock of hair. What a devious trickster! I loved it!

While this series is okay-ish, I am so sick of more feminine gay characters being used as comic relief ans screeching extras, while all these practically hetero dudes are always the mains. I would for a series to make a more feminine gay man the main character and not make him the source of comic relief.

You are so very right! All these sanctimonious comments remind me of the days where conversations about school shootings were all about whether or not the shooter had played a violent video game before.

Media does not have to be "pure", or portray only unproblematic behaviour. A purist approach to what can or cannot be shown in media is a slippery slope.

I liked this show, because the characters were (openly) gay from the beginning. None of the typical straight boys falling for each other. As a queer person, I found that very wholesome.

I agree with everything you said. Especially regarding the lack of chemistry. If I didn't know this is a romance, I wouldn't be able to tell. Which is strange because usually Korean BLs, like straight kdramas, are so full of longing and pining and ugh. Very disappointing.

I am watching episode 28 and... help, the things Scorpion and his "father" are sayibg to each other are getting creepier by the minute lol

This show feels like a huge peanut butter-chocolate chip sundae, covered in whipped cream and caramel sauce. You know it's not good for you, but you want it anyway lol

Having said that, I feel sad for LiCheng and MuRen. I can't wait for the next episode.
