Very true! I am not a big fan of the two brothers either, but this is a trope-y, trashy BL series and not some moralist piece of literature where we are told how to live our lives by the author.

The bad reviews are really puzzling to me because as a queer person who once was a queer teen, too, I feel so seen by this series. Like, the scene where they were drinking, dancing and then lying on the bed holding hands, it's just....aaaah. xD

I hope we get to see lots of Priest's novels adapted, her stories are so good.... and refreshingly different!

This series feels really different from other BL series. I am surprised the rating is so low because it's very good and addresses so many important topics.

I qas seriously going "Scorpion, that's not how you should look at your father".... anyway, adoptive father makes it only slightly better, as in, the "father" is still a very massive arsehole and manipulative as hell. Also, their relationship is very creepy, but as it get's people talking, maybe that was the intention behind it lol

I am not very interested in the prequel. I feel a bit bad for the Scorpion King because his "father" is a manipulative arsehole, but that's about it. Mostly I keeo going "all right then, that just actually happened" whenever they share a scene lol

If any of you have studied psychology, can you answer me this... what kind of (personality?) disorder is it that they mean when they say "affective disorder"? Because I, knowing little about it, did a google search and it said the term is used to describe depression and bipolar disorders. But in the show it was describe as a complete inability to experience emotions? I am confused ... ? anyway, if you of you have any insights for me , that would be very kind :))

Maybe I missed it, but... it seemed like the "only" issue Leo had with Fiat's behaviour in ep9 was that he was trying to sleep with someone who had a boyfriend. No mention of Type being so drunk he couldn't possibly have consented to anything. Whyyyyy is this a seemingly regular thing in this author's works?

I get why Wayu and Thanu probably should not be together, since Wayu seeing his ex in Thanu in the beginning and Thanu only being there for Wayu because said ex said so would have made a shitty starting point for a relationship. But the whole soulmate thing is absolutely terrible and annoying.
At least Mark and Kit are cute together.
