In short. Some articles were published about her being a member of a rich family and reporters showed up at her uncles house. That's why they were angry. You can see it in EP7.
I was wrong tho, because they explained it in the same episode.๐
1.) it's not romcom, it's melodrama. So you can adjust you expectation. 2.) the stories are deep, layered, some…
You can understand something and still dislike it, but if you read most of the negative comments it's clear they didn't understand anything, and a lot of them even saying they "watched it" on 2x speed or even skipped scenes.
Not to mention a lot of people saying they're confused by the DID plot, the ML has no meaning etc.
Thereโs something about Go YounJung. She never looks cringey when she acts cute. She looks so natural.
If you watch some interviews and behind videos you can see her real life personality is similar. She's a walking sunshine. Not to mention her big eyes are like a sparkling black hole.๐
Lol no. Dorami is the only saving grace of this drama. Cha Muhee has gone down to Oh Hani level, even Yoo Meri…
Well, there were a lot of funny scenes, but if you didn't find it funny, that's a different matter.
To be honest, those scenes were funnier than most scenes in actual romcoms. But this is about personal taste. Just because I like it and you don't doesn't mean it's not there though. The comedy part wasn't just her being embarrassing.
Yes, he kept rejecting her, yet, since EP1 he still visited her in the hospital 3 times, asked her manager about her, sent mixed signals, in Japan he literally asked her out, and said, she liked her, helped her without her knowledge, and so many other things.
I'm not sure what "romance" is for you, but romance is not just acting cute and kissing scenes.
For me, romance is 100% about the small details. That's more important than 10000 "I love you".
But it literally reflected the main story. Even ML's uncle or whoever was Kim Won Hae's character said: "Everyone speaks a different language".
It's not a metaphor, they couldn't translate their love properly, because both had their own issues. It didn't happen till they finally understood each other perfectly.

No offense, but so many people have said this and I'm so bored with clueless Kdrama fans. Romcom doesn't mean the drama has to be romance and comedy 24/7 in every episode.
In this drama there were a LOT of romantic and comedic scenes, ergo it's a romcom, but also it's a DRAMA and a PSYCHOLOGICAL story as well. It's not their fault that MDL can't add the the other two genres. That's why I asked them. Wonder if they're gonna change it.
And no, Netflix didn't lie, the trailer alone says it all. You can see the darker and melodramatic elements of the show.
I understood the genre just fine. My criticism is about execution, not confusion. If pointing out weak narrative…
LR was "well excecuted and genres were seamlessly blended"? Are you sure you watched Lovely Runner? It was a MESS. Not only the crime story but the time traveling plot as well, especially in the finale. Now, that was a load of bs. The so called writer literally messed up the plot big time in the finale. Just read my review and you're gonna understand what I'm talking about. She messed up the most basic time travel rule. Even rookies know you can't do that. The writer couldn't stick to her own rules.
At least "CTLBT" was consistent, the writers didn't break their own rules. And yes, the genre changed for obvious reasons. What did you expect from a show where the FL has 2 personalities, suffers from childhood trauma and other things? Acting cutesy all the time like in "LR"? Be serious please.
I'm not arguing with you because you didn't like the drama, my only problem is that you and some other people can't comprehend the most basic things. Like why the story changes or characters do things etc.
Let's be blatantly honest. Romcom fans don't care about the story, that's why shows like "LR" were a hit, but the minute they watch something that's a bit more complex, they criticize the writing even tho they usually defend romcoms by saying "It's just a romcom, it's not that deep."
I understood the genre just fine. My criticism is about execution, not confusion. If pointing out weak narrative…
You literally said: "I could not figure out what genre they were aiming forโwas it horror, psychological, or romance? "
They used all of these, except maybe horror because that was just her movie. This isn't a typical cutesy romcom. This is a Drama, Psychological, Romance and Comedy. The exaction was just fine. Maybe you just wanted Romance and Comedy but that's not their fault.
I don't care if you like it or not, that's your opinion and taste, but so many people act as if the writers didn't know what they wanted. Most of you thought this is another copy and paste full romcom, even tho the trailer already spoiled the darker elements of the drama. Not to mention, 99% of the Kdramas always use multiple genres. Even romcoms.
For example: "Lovely Runner" was a Romcom, Thriller and Sci-fi but I didn't see anyone blaming the writer for that even though it was a really weak script.
"Can they listen, absolutely. However, their suggestions could harm you as again, they are likely not qualified…
True, but that's why I said, at the end of the day, the heavy lifting is done by the family or someone else close to the patient. Doctors are there to diagnose, that's basically all they do.
Sure, I can't diagnose anyone, I'm not a doctor, but in many cases you can help a mentally ill person without a doctor. Unless it's a really serious problem and they need medication or something else.
People with DID, like FL, usually have to live in hospice care. Unless it's not as serious or the doctor just doesn't care. Like I said, my friend has DID for 20+ years and he has to take shots every month.
He didn't have any childhood trauma or anything like that, so no one knows why or how his DID developed.
As I said, every case is different, and that's why I think Muhui's case is not unrealistic.
they need him to say exactly what he feels or else they don't understand. children in need of spoon-feeding
Yes, sadly. I get if people don't like it, but blaming the writers and characters is insane. Also, it's not like in typical romcoms the romance isn't dragged out for "decades". Even if they get together in the last couple of episodes the writer usually breaks them apart before the finale.๐ At least that didn't happen in this one.
People do dumb things, especially in a relationship, so this was pretty realistic. Especially if we understand that both have personal problems, and one is a huge star too. I was actually surprised they didn't make a big fuss in the media about their dating. I was waiting for that plot but not in a good way.
He was cautious because she is an actress and that might case a stir in his personal life. Also because he was…
Most people can only see the surface, that's why romcoms are the most watched Kdramas. They don't have to think about the story that much. Sad, really.

It was like the worst table tennis match ever.๐
Jokes aside, you know why she didn't have the courage. That's the whole Dorami exists.
