I think they(who call this boring) came to the wrong place. The "Tastefully Yours" page is just a search…
💀😂
On Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Sep 14, 2025
Looks like many people say it's boring, and they're dragging the competition for too long even tho it's only 2 episodes, and they will end it in episode 9, probably. Honestly, this is kind of an odd thing to say, because cooking is literally the Main Plot of the show. People might want more romance or fighting with the enemy, but those are just side stories. I wouldn't be surprised if they won't do much with the enemies, because it's not important at all. Like, Jiyeong already told us what's gonna happen. The King doing his research behind everyone's back. So there's no need to drag an unnecessary fight with his uncle or who he is and his concubine. I'd bet my house on them losing the fight before they make a real move, and they will do that in 1 episode, and I would LOVE that! I've seen 1000s of ridiculous fighting in historical dramas. It's boring, because they always dragging it for too long. When in reality everything could be solved in 2 episodes or so.

The romance in this story isn't really the main focus, but after the contest they will delve into that more, that's 100%, because it has its connection with the "back to the future" plot.

In short: I think a LOT of people want something else from this show, even tho the writer never implied they want to do that. So, it's not the creator's fault.

I'm making a literal observation, and I clearly told myself that this drama is good for one big reason: it's set…
We could say this about pretty much every Kdrama set in the Joseon era. This is good, because the writing is good, and the show does what it has to, nothing more or less. I didn't watch "Tastefully yours", but most drama fail to deliver because they either drag the story for 16 episodes and solve everything in the last 2, or even mess it up. Or they just put 100 stories in 16 episodes for no reason. But here, they're only focusing on 2 stories. The cooking and the enemies. Going back home is not even important, like, at all.

i feel like you havent really seen the drama at all
The first episode alone showed everything about him, so maybe she only watched like 5 minute.

Well said. I agree to everything you said. A lot of people use "boring" for everything these days and…
Not sure about the episode number, because in my opinion, it's all about the writing. A good writer can do a good job, it doesn't matter how long it is, but I've seen many long and short series (not just Korean) fail to deliver. Shorter shows usually fail with character development because it has to be faster paced. These days, they do limited series because it's much cheaper and can look better as well, but a LOT of my favorite have more than 20 episodes.

But many people don't like slice of life that actually develop characters better than anything else, probably.

For me, ep 7 is not a waste. Without it, I wouldnt know that Jinmu is not totally a villain after all. It also…
Well said. I agree to everything you said. A lot of people use "boring" for everything these days and later complain about the lack of character development. The 7th EP was basically the 1st EP of the 2nd half of the season, so it's basically a new build-up like the 1st episode was.

Episode 7 proved why so many people love this show. Some might say it was boring, but it showed again why it's important to respect each other AND know each other better. At first, I didn't like the Chinese cooks, but now I respect them! And I'm obviously loved every scene with Jiyeong, Jang Chun Saeng and the boys. Ko Chang Seok is such a funny and lovable actor.

Title Karma
its because he was burnt and his whole face was bandaged and as soon as he recovered he left
Okay, but people still believe he's the other guy after he left the hospital. It's really not that hard to compare two pictures of the guys.

Title Dear X
Tving will never share their origin work with Netflix & Disney+ , it's will be more likely on Prime video,…
Yeah, you're right, I mixed them up with TVN. Based on the list of TVing shows, Prime Video could be the one. Viu and Paramount aren't worldwide.

Let's hope Netflix will license the show. The poster kinda looks AI made, tho.

I'm not sure but yes it's possible
That's what I meant to say. I hope it's NOT Disney. I don't like VIKI either because of the bad video quality, it's still 720p in Europe, and that's nonsense, but at least the Kdramas are available.

If it's Disney, it's only selected regions, because it's MBC not Disney original, so I hope it's not Disney or at least VIKI.
On Criminal Minds Sep 7, 2025
Some people try to defend this drama, saying they have to put 15 seasons in 20 episodes. That's a load of rubbish. Criminal Minds is not some very complex TV show. It's just a typical crime drama. I only watched the first 4 episodes so far, and it's already all over the place, below average writing, and it's predictable as well. Like, there's no surprise at all. The characters are so stupid I can't even describe it. How can someone have a job at a place like this with a low IQ?

I only started watching this because of Yoongi and Chaewon, but I feel like I'm gonna drop it, because it's waste of time. A so called genius with 180+ IQ is so slow as hell, the hacker woman is so dumb, she just used a random flash drive and put it in their main computer. A wife of a profiler is so dumb, she believes some random dude her husband died, and never thought: "Maybe I should call my husband first or at least his collages I actually know."

The more I talk about this show, I get more angry.

Maybe I will finish it after a couple of weeks because I can't bare to watch more than 1 episode per days or weeks.

BTW, what was Mokju's plan exactly? Because they made a big deal out of it, but it turned out to be a complete…
That's why I said it was a dumb plan, because Jiyeong already beat both chef before, not sure why she thought she can outdo her now. It would be a better plan to just kill or abduct her.😅

Use Spoiler please! Also, I know that part, but I was talking about her plan with the food. 😅

This drama should be renamed to "Drooling over you".😂
BTW, what was Mokju's plan exactly? Because they made a big deal out of it, but it turned out to be a complete failure. At first, I thought she's gonna put some ingredients in Jiyeong's food, but her plan was to serve a cold dish? Not a smart woman.😂

I think another culinary contest with the Chinese guys is coming soon.

Also, the chili scene was funny. Never seen anyone so hyped up about a chili.🤣
