My issue with fighings: seen better in a realistic way on dramas that lol are no fantasy or overpowered main characters…
Yes, that's what I hate the most when they mess up everything in the last couple of episodes.

I will check this C-Drama one day. Looks like they're planning a sequel as well and a movie.

I only started dropping shows like 2 years ago or so, but I watched a LOT of things over the years, so I usually pick something I will like. I can tell after 1 trailer if I will like something or not. I tend to watch everything from my faves, that's why sometimes can run into bad shows. 😅

Me neither, I didn't finish the 1st EP of Weightlifting Fairy.

LR was a decent show, but as I said, I'm way more critical with time traveling, because that's one of my fave genre. My problem was that the writer didn't follow their own rules. Especially in the last couple of episodes. The other stuff was just your typical Kdrama I can handle.

I didn't see RESET yet, not in my PTW either, but the title is familiar, probably because of an Anime. I only find a Chinese move with this title not a show. I think that's it, because it has the same description as you said, so it's a movie. Time loop is even harder to do properly than time traveling imo, because it's repetitive, and you have to make it interesting.

I don't expect HBO level writing or complexity, but if the writer can't follow their own rules, especially in fantasy or time traveling shows like "Lovely Runner" I'm gonna drop it or rate it lower. Time travel plot is one of my favorite, so I'm very critical with those. Even the cutest romance story can't save a ridiculous writing for me. "Lovely Runner" writer were lucky, because they messed up the show in the last 2 EP, so I didn't want to drop it.😂

You can see here, I don't give a lot of time for shows anymore. 😅 "Gangnam B-Side" were also a Disney+ show and 8 episodes and I dropped it after 4 episodes. I couldn't even pass 2 episodes on "Weightlifting Fairy" and "Descendants of the Sun" even tho I LOVE the cast in the latter.

Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't read the rest of yours either. But seriously, let people express themselves without…
Again, if you read it like that, it's not my fault.

I couldn't care less about ratings, my comment isn't about rating at all. It was about ignorant people who criticize a show without paying attention. How many times do I have to tell you this?

If I want to be honest, the whole rating system should be removed, so people won't argue about it and let's be honest, most of them don't know how to rate shows properly. Favoritism above fair criticism. That's why I don't watch anything based on ratings. This isn't being elitists or snobbish, it's being smart.

"If people want to give this 0/10 because their fave only appears for 10 seconds, it's valid and they shouldn't be looked down upon. "

No, it's not valid, it's stupid! Just like when people rate shows or movies lower because it had adult scenes.

It's okay to miss some part of the story or even don't understand something. You can ask about it, but rating something because you're too lazy to pay attention is just being dumb.

My comment was constructive, it's just you didn't understand the meaning, and that's why you proved my point.

Why there are not 12?
Watch the intro with the narration in the 1st EP again and you'll understand.

The fight scenes weren't the best, as I said above, but honestly, "Good Boy" is a good example when you have good fight scenes, but the writing is bland and ridiculous. That's why I dropped it after episode 8. I had enough of that repetitive madness. I didn't drop many dramas over 20 years, but now I will do it, even if my fave actors are in it, because I don't want to waste my time.

This show so far is decent, nothing special, but I will drop it the minute it starts doing insane things. Probably won't happen because it's only 8 episodes but we'll see.

It's not an insult, it's pretty much a fact about a LOT of Kdrama fans. They give 10/10 for everything if their fave actor is in it. If the shoe fits, it's not my fault.

I didn't contradict myself, btw. I only stated the obvious that people want everything to be said out loud, and even if the creators do that, they don't understand it because they can't pay attention.

You proved my point yet again.

I NEVER called anyone dumb for not liking a show. Maybe read my comment again.

You started your comment with this:

"Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't read the rest of yours either."

And you wanna argue with me? Grow up first.

No offense, but if people are dumb, and ignorant, it's not my problem or my fault, let alone the creators'. The show literally starts with an intro where the narrator tells you everything. Yet, people still asking: "Where are the other 4 Angels? Why they don't have powers." and so on.

It's not "foreshadowing" they literally spelled it out!

I couldn't care less if people like it or not, If you actually read my comment, you'll see I'm not a massive fan either, yet! What I don't like is ignorant fools who just want to hate, saying it's boring for some stupid reason, and that reason is they can't focus on the details even if it was mentioned multiple times throughout the 2 episodes.

I know a LOT of Kdrama fan can only focus on the pretty boys and cute romance, but this is ridiculous.

Not true. The guy who he worked for is a loan shark or even worse, you don't know how many people he had to kill just because they didn't pay back the money. Also, just because you kill bad people, it doesn't mean you're good. He's still a bad guy.

Juyeon would definitely leave him if she finds out who he is.

It was pretty good and interesting, but overall it's just average, and the writing was weird. I mean, I wouldn't say there were plot holes, but some part just didn't make any sense. Like, the guy can't leave the hospital after his body burned like that, and how on Earth people can't see he's not the same guy? Come on now. Some parts were just thrown in to make it more complex, but I think they add too many characters as well.

Sure hon, and you can say that about a LOT of new screenwriters too. And he's not even the only writer of the show. So, what you're saying is 100% nonsense!

BTW, there's literally no A-list actor on this show. I don't think you know what A-list means.

"Twelve" review after 2 episodes!

In short: Don't read comments!

Why? Because this is another example of fans being clueless, and kind of toxic if the writer doesn't spell out everything for them, they call it boring, and most of them only watch this because of their favorite puppy boys anyway.

After the first 2 episodes, this was pretty good, not the best, but they did everything they had to. This is an old-school action series with supernatural powers. The fight scenes are realistic when they don't use powers. The camera work isn't the best, but not that bad either. I've seen MUCH, MUCH worse in other Korean shows.

If you want to know everything in the first episode, you're gonna dislike it, because as I said, they don't spell out everything, and you have to pay attention to understand everything! People used to the opposite.

My only complaint is that 8 episodes might be not enough, but the chemistry between the actors are great, the humor is good, and it's not over the top.

IMPORTANT NOTE for people who don't understand anything or everything!!!

Just watch the INTRO! You can see a LOT of spoilers in that!

I'm not surprised, most Kdrama lovers want to sacrifice everything for a nice happy ending and romance.😂 I watch Korean shows/movies for over 20 years, I've seen it all, a cute romance and happy ending can't fool me anymore.😅

I don't want another Moon Lovers. I liked the show, but it had so many problems, and not because of the ending tbf.

Honestly, I don't think we can say if she leaves her family behind, it's a happy ending. It's one thing to live with your partner in the same time period and meeting with your parents sometimes, but living in the past while they don't know what's going on with you is just cruel.

I don't really care about Happy Endings if the show is well-written, but not sure how can they end it like that. She can't just stay in the past, she has a family in the future, and he can't travel to the future. So, if it's a Happy Ending, I think they might end up together in the future when he reincarnates, or they can just ravel time any time with the book.
