By any chance, are Korean women usually this timid and have that bad self-esteem? Their behaviour could be more logical if they were teens or just turned 20. In your 30's you'd usually have found most part of your identity, values and such. Also in that age you should know when to say no or go to get your rights. And yet _how can ML+FL communication be that stiff?_ They're like they'd have metal bar in their asses. For those who wonder, I have seen people like Horang, Wooseok or Sehee. I have gone thru lots of relationship issues and they've taught me to communicate, say no, and thinking like my age. Btw, I think Sooji's prickliness is nothing more than fucking with Sang-goo. If you live with your disabled mother, why is that top secret? Is she ashamed of her? Is disability that big taboo there even now? Aside from those damn harassing dicks she should let people close to her. Behaving like that will push them away irl. And btw, for harassing: if HR doesn't help you, just quit and work where people respect your personal limits!
Yoo Hae Jin & Ryu Jun-yeol are spectacular, both together and by themselves. Scenery was 10/10. I'd might pass this film if you're sensitive. It's raw, gore, ofc war is always like that. So, maybe think before you watch if you're sensitive.
The actors who play the older versions look like they are in their 50s, very tired and worn out. But they are…
Yeah, before life was more rough, there was lots of heavy physical jobs and health knowledge was only developing as well as living conditions. Didn't smbdy from series say that life expectancy in Korea at early 60's was just 52 years?
Like from my own keyboard, thank you! I'd like to add that individual arc took most portion of time - but still felt hollow. There was something, but it should've gone yet deeper. Also the subplot came completely out of the blue and too late: movie has already lost many wiewers when it suddenly turns interesting. Still, to hold tension, subplot shouldn't start right at the beginning (and then rule the whole movie).
Exactly how I'm thinking! Teens got bigger part in story than they should've had and also I think Cho Jung Hyun should've stayed dead and not wake up...
So yeah, people did get visibly old quicker.
