Cringeworthy nostalgia
I really enjoyed it! It felt like a sweet trip down memory lane for my inner child. Thirteen-year-old me would have absolutely loved this movie, so I gave it a seven! Watching it now made me realize just how much my tastes have evolved, and that’s definitely a good thing. Sure, there were some cringeworthy moments, but it was fascinating to compare my feelings about plots now with how I felt when I was younger. That was really the reason I wanted to watch this film. It’s the kind of swoon-worthy, lovey-dovey movie that’s just fun to enjoy, even if it's not exactly my usual cup of tea.
