i've liked ong-ju so far but i really hate that she kept quiet about about park ki-se cheating. i rewatched the scene where she confesses to MK over and over again trying to understand her rationale; what's said is basically something along the lines of 'she’s afraid that if she told MK, then her words would directly cause the breakup.' which is bullshit reasoning btw. she was more concerned about being uncomfortable or blamed than about MK's right to know the truth.
if a friend hid something like that to me i would feel immensely betrayed - i would look back on everything she's done for me and wonder if it was all just her guilt speaking. i'm baffled MK forgave her so easily.
at first i thought lee hee jun and kwangsoo were the best in this. but it's clear park hae soo stole the show. everyone did amazing but he took it to the next level.
lee jun young is booked and busy this year - so far he has appeared in the queen who crowns, melo movie, when life gives you tangerines and now this. also weak hero 2 later in the year :')
ep 13: i have a bad feeling about the new female intern.......also ginger head is so annoying. like stop crossing the line when the fl has expressed being uncomfortable multiple times 😭 he's an introvert's biggest nightmare
this will probably get lost in the sea of comments but does anyone have any similar cdrama recommendations? i'm fairly new to cdramas - i've maybe seen 2 or 3 of them years ago, so i'm not too familiar with this genre. but this is insanely good. like i can't get enough. are all cdramas this lengthy and slowburn? i heard they're notorious for the yearning, pining, etc.
what i love: the calm nature of both of the leads and their chemistry. the raw love and intense pining the ml has for the fl. the almost slice-of-life atmosphere where i can take it slow and watch a bit at a time. like it follows their daily lives but it's not boring. just overall a heartwarming atmosphere.
any similar cdramas that are mostly set in winter, beautiful cinematography, mature/grown and likeable leads, ardent love, and a bit of a slowburn? a bit of comedy like this one would be great too. generally a light watch. if it helps i loved the similar kdramas when the weather is fine, call it love, and lost. thanks!
edit: thank you all for all the recommendations!! added all of them to my list!!
