Yea, hopefully they don't make him betray her that way. I draw the line at angry words and some mild, innocent scenes to incite jealousy. I feel like Jin Mi suffered enough during those 12 years before she revived him. But hey if he makes her suffer too much then they can really milk the regret he feels after she dies.
NOOOOO in this M/V at 3:29 seems like Xu Feng marries Sui He - I hope NOT! really hope they didn't change too…
Me too. It seems like they're really bulking up Sui He's role to up the angst and make Jin Mi suffer more for what she did...Maybe it's Jin Mi under that veil? Lol
Finally! I was waiting on someone to talk about the ending so I can rant about it too. I was looking forward to…
There were scenes from the trailer and MV that were only in the book's epilogue and since the book was a happy ending I can only hope that they follow through with it in the drama. Of course I was optimistic about this drama too and look what happened.

Yes, nonetheless I enjoyed this adaptation much better than the others since it's much happier overall. I also like that xu xuan was not just a helpless scholar and most importantly fa hai wasn't the typically evil villain like in past versions. The thing is they had the scene to end it but chose not to include it. Some editor got lazy in post production. Oh well. Unfortunately, I don't think we're getting a sequel... On a happy note, Heavy Sweetness Ashlike Frost is out in two weeks and will have the happy ending we're looking for. I hope.

Exactly! I thought xiao qing would come back as well. Like maybe a thousand years went by again and xiao qing and zi xuan appear again. His death scene was pretty lacking for a main lead. I mean they both have died or almost died so many times and zi xuan's death is just alone with fa hai? Even his first death a thousand years ago was done better. There had to have been some screw up in editing. Why film that scene where he finds her on the bridge but not use in the end? Even her continuing to look for him would've been better. He died once so she can try to bring him back again. Why jump off the bridge? You're immortal. That's not gonna kill you. At least off yourself properly to go be with him. What are you gonna do down there.

I'm glad it's not just me. There were scenes in the end that seem to hint that something more was gonna happen. Why have that scene where his family was looking for him? Even if they were to die it would have made more of an emotional impact to at least die together not have her still looking for him. A final moment together to say goodbye would have even sufficed...
I cannot make sense of the ending. Was there supposed to be an extra episode 61 out there? I for sure thought it would be a happy ending because of the last scene in the music video so I was waiting for it to end with that. However brief it still would've provided closure. But what's with ending everything simply by playing the music video? I know many adaptions have bad endings but the whole vibe of this version seemed to hint at a happy ending... Even as an open ending it feels too incomplete. They survived through so much worse throughout the series and that's how they go?? I can't help feeling like I'm missing something. Did I perhaps watch some messed up alternate last episode?
This is like Boss and Me but with the added dream component. There's the cheerful foodie employee who gradually gains career success, the outwardly cold boss with the sad past, annoying third party female friend who pines for the ML and her lame attempts to get close to him, the ML's guy friend with the unrequited love for the annoying female friend, the cute animations... I hope they play up the dream part more. That was what made this drama stand out to begin with. At least deng lun and dilraba are always pretty to look at lol.
Im really confused atm, can someone enlighten me if Ethan Ruan is a fake prince or not? It seems that he is really…
Ethan is prince wuji of the tian quan kingdom masquerading as the xuan yuan prince of the tai yuan kingdom. I don't think they showed what happened to the prince that fu yao saved yet.
Seriously, the only thing good about this series is rongzhi and the costumes, everything else is utterly pointless.…
I agree. The female general gets way too much air time. They're not spending enough time developing the main couple's storyline. I don't understand how chi yu is supposed to fall for rong zhi when he's only ever been a jerk to her face since their marriage. Since song wei long fits the image of rong zhi so well I can overlook his acting. They just need to put him back in white...rong zhi is supposed to wear white! And give us back his old hairstyle.
