to add more confusions!-- had to look up for Recaps; firstly; ( A ) why was Seungri' grandfather killed?; As reported by HyunJin's colleague before he showed witness/Seungri pics; -- (recap: " .. .. he (colleague) finally found the #1 loanshark in Korea and found out that Seulki is her granddaughter. But he does not have any kids so how is she the granddaughter? An external marriage?
The loanshark says that he never heard anyone get married again at 60 but he also never saw a tube baby at 60 years old either. Hyunjin is about to throw something at him. He comments on her temper, then Hyunjin sees Seulki’s picture and says that they can talk about it later...." ---;
Secondly; Nursery scene between the Scientist & that woman(Client) -- talking about Seungri & #88 (blood in his hands)? so isn't SoHyun really the #88 as he had to the killing jobs for 1 phone in exchange?; -- (recap : " ... The woman says that they have time, don’t worry. #88 has never missed. The man asks, does “no subject” not know that his daughter (refer HyunJin) is with #88? She says that those things should be revealed, according to their plan. (Maybe the no subject sentence refers to Do Jaehwan). .... " --

Thirdly; seeing a double cross of that woman/client -- isn't she the lover of the HyunJin's father & handling matters for him ? Or she (maybe former assistant to this scientist) collaborating together for a reason??

yep confusing but guess we won't know till the end but u may be right about 'clones'; 'internal organs'; which may sounds right why the children were being killed in the first place; but still left SooHyun, detective HJin; & SeulGi ? So hypothetically saying, this old man in the wheelchair; wealth & powerful had inseminations done for 'internal organs'; won't that make the three related? aargh..., still don't make sense the last 5 episodes --

totally agreed & u said it so so well - was hoping it was another suspense thrilling exciting twisting drama like 'Trap' - making no sense glad it was a very short drama so will watch till end

as for our dear GenPei - what can he do-- as a general he is to obey & follow orders. Anytime he is said something LCY will likely to command him to "shut up" "don't interfer", "your opinion don't count" ..etc..; - just like that arrow shooting scene on the wall where XFan begged him for help to stop the arrows; & how GPei responded. btw can you spot if there were tears on GPei during that arrow firing on GuJian - believe GPei was silently suffering torn & despair - yes it wld make a difference if he told LCY abt GaoXioWu but that wld change the entire shooting scenes - so more or less GPei's & Adu roles are what we see as it were

i may be wrong- if u remember GuJian during conversations w/Ah Du he had only 6 mths to live -- so if you were in his shoes what will you do during your last days - -yes he is selfish but I think he wants to give it all to XiaoFan & make it up for all he had done & take her away fm her misery state; also in the palace escape -- "if we don't try how do we know we can escape .." GuJ was going all out, ready for anything & determined to get XFan away -- after all what had he got to lose ? Feels sorry & sad but since that moment GuJ told his Godfather 'let me go - i don't want to live this life anymore' -- doubt his Godfather knew about his short span of life; GuJ just knew he had to do what he had to do, live by his own decisions & not anyone else. He truly cared for XFan :)

Highly recommend all to watch the 'Behind the Scene' on Utube - greatly appreciate how this beautiful drama being made & both main leads singing duet. Believe the casts & crew members were also caught up emotionally that dying scene. Reported main actor actually lost his voice after screaming so much. What a great performance.

ok just found that article on dramapanda jan 29 - did mentioned on Viki back then but was refuted to be a "rumor" & not pay attention to it. Interesting article though. Hv to give thumbs up to Cgovt & the president, eradicate poverty & improving lifestyles. It was interesting to see how humble the president was visiting the poor rural villages every chinese NY. Check it out on Utube. It did report about their future social engineering project. Guess everything must be a balance to avoid bad influences & consequences. Now with that unfortunate Korea huge scandal & amidst the Huawei, US/Canadian trades, FanBing2 taxes, etc.; even a US travel advisory was issued recently to warn of chinese traveling back to China may expect to be detained or no exit; & just here in US human trafficking involved with the chinese massage parlor & the Patriot owner. Aah what else is new under the sun --
