Lee JaWoon could use more direction but overall they were fine with what they were given which wasn’t much. Honestly, they were at their best in the NC scenes which is disappointing because I prefer a decent story with character development and maybe some NC scenes if it makes sense.
Those last two episodes did not help the story and wasting a whole episode for flashback is a choice. The “reveal” was really weak and quickly falls apart if you think for more than two seconds. I don’t get why HaNeul was affected by the reveal so badly nor why he acts so differently from his previous self… could have developed the story better but most of it felt like filler and surface level instead of driving the story.
It seems they prioritized cute couple moments over a decent script.
I definitely didn’t like the SaeByeok character mainly because instead of listening to HaNeul’s valid points before the memory loss he took advantage of the situation and almost lost everything. Oh but it ends happily for that character! After probably a (few) days apart he’s hospitalized for (fake) collapsing and there goes HaNeul running after him. Bro is manipulative af and now knowing HaNeul knew all along… They’re obsessed and afraid of being alone… not in love. Perfect match for each other.
Wanna say that I’m excited to see what’s next for them but if it’s with the same production then I’m not getting my hopes up nor watching as a weekly release.
After watching the episodes so far I am 90% certain what the “twist” is and idk if it’ll be good or convoluted…
So… it’s obvious that there is a secret SaeByeok is hiding from HaNeul and I think it has to do with the original accident. From those letters written to HaNeul I think someone involved with the accident died and he blames himself for it, after blaming SaeByeok if that one flashback wasn’t a misdirection. I always thought how it was strange how Memory loss HaNeul took everything differently from his original self such as not holding up in a room and wanting to do tennis again. Even HaNeul expresses his own confusion on how his past self reacted to the accident. That’s because he doesn’t know everything that happened and I think SaeByeok is trying his hardest to keep this vital information secret to keep this version of HaNeul. The one that is not scared to continue his dreams. The version he likes better because it’s the HaNeul from before the accident… Man now that I’m working through this I hope I’m wrong because I’m gonna end up disliking SaeByeok more than I already do!
So… an almost perfect series! Loved seeing these two together again. The story was engaging, kinda complex, and sad. Cute and comedic moments balances it out nicely. The production and cinematography were so beautiful, many scenes can make for some awesome screenshots.
The fantastical elements of the story don’t really have much explanation to it, which I realize now isn’t the point of the story. The story is about second chances and what will you do to save the one you love.
Definitely watch this as a binge because watching it week to week did not do it any good and I’m about to binge watch it all.
I think that’s what was shown with the flashbacks of them waiting at the river. Also the scenes of when he travels he literally leaves the timeline. I think when he returned after saving Woojin the timelines were Woojin is alive and the one where he died anyway started to merge. I still don’t understand the whole colorblindness thing but maybe I’ll just drop it like they did lol.
After mulling it over I do think it’s more of a decent ending than I first thought. Left a ton up to interpretation but I’m glad it’s a happy ending. I just expected more since it was really good! Some explanations and a hug would’ve been nice but overall it was a really good story.
Yeah I loved the journey but man that ending… seemed a bit rushed and a few plot lines were just dropped. I’m thinking that at the end they’re from different timelines or something. Or those scenes were all just misdirection. idk I’m mainly confused by that last episode
Hmm with the new episodes I’m not sure what to think about this series. It’s interesting and the mystery is what makes brings me back but other than that there’s not much else. Main leads are cute and have chemistry when you leave out the context that one is supposed to have memory loss and despises the other yet will immediately give in with little resistance. Other characters especially the family members seem to only exist to set up some really awkward scenes that should not be an issue if someone actually explained anything to Haneul! That scene from episode 5 really made me frustrated because it just seems no one has any idea nor cares for Haneul’s memory loss especially Haneul himself! To me it seems like they wanted a twist reveal built around the memory loss but didn’t give much thought to how the characters should be in that situation. They wanted the tension from someone losing the memory of their lover and yet have them act as if they just are reconnecting from a break up… Also my previous prediction came true and I’m disappointed. Don’t get me started with Saebyeok who in my opinion is a real red flag despite his full lips. Keeping secrets, overtly pushy with his affection, and apparently not even trusting Haneul to take care of himself even in the past. Like idk about other people but a relationship should be built on trust and an equal partnership. I don’t get the impression that their past relationship had any of that. To me it just seems Saebyeok is obsessed with having Haneul and will do anything to keep him by his side. Even if that means keeping vital information that could help with his memory loss. Could all be misdirection but it seems like it’s all catching up to that guy in the last episodes. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s swept under the rug just so they can get to the intimate scenes they obviously wanted to do from the beginning.
A review perfectly articulated my main issue with this series, the memory loss feels superficial when it should be driving the narrative.
Yo idk why I put off watching this series but it’s an underrated gem! A bit confusing at first but once it hits its stride does it hit. Hilarious, cute, surprisingly deep, and a bit of horror. The chemistry between the leads is amazing and I love the banter between them. I hope there’s a season 2 coming 🙏

Honestly haven’t watched a Thai bl in so long. I’ve seen Cutie Pie and the Next Prince and let’s just say I was disappointed in the latter. I think this story would’ve worked way better as a slow burn as Haneul recovers his memory but it seems they want to have their cake and eat it too. Keeping their intimacy to flashbacks instead of having the other lead be extremely pushy would have made for a better watching experience for me.

oh yeah that scene seemed out of place especially when I assumed it’s been a few nights. Would’ve made sense if it was in episode one but I think they had it as a tongue in cheek scene foreshadowing the ending scene of that episode or possible NC scene because of the jokes made. I still disagree though since Haneul immediately gave into letting him stay at the house and all the physical contact to me seems pretty strange and pushy for someone to do with a person who lost their memory. However, the description explicitly states why Haneul lets that honestly strange behavior happen but we never get a scene in the episodes so far. It makes me think he’s just faking the memory loss because no matter how their relationship was he should’ve been more persistent about staying friends until he regains his memory. It just seems really weird and all over the place to me. Hopefully it gets better but I wouldn’t be surprised if they get together next episode. Just extremely disappointed.

Like bro at least put up some resistance because the last thing he remembers is that he’s his enemy! If it wasn’t for the subtitles I would’ve thought they just broke up and Saebyeok is trying to win him back. Especially with how all the other characters are treating Haneul’s memory loss like it’s nothing and he should get over it. I was hoping for some serious tension after the big argument but no we end with them making out and sleeping in the same bed. Might be because it’s a Thai production but it reminds me too much of how in their characters inconsistently act in the context of the story just to have kissing or NC scenes.
