Yo I was thinking about watching their other series after seeing Durang with You but it’s seems that one is an outlier. I usually avoid Domundi because of the stereotypical characterization of top/bottom (the infantilization) and the weird “shipping couple” thing they encourage with their actors.

Man I was so close to dropping when I saw that we were halfway through the episode and still on the pedoline. At least it’s over… hopefully. I swear if he goes back to the Tutor I’m gonna lose it! They changed and added a lot to the adaptation that I hoped they would change the “Tutor” plot line. Wishful thinking but I hope Kanata knocks him out for making Akira feel dirty and undeserving.

Don’t know if you got to it yet but he started “tutoring” Akira when he entered high school so the argument from Littlelola that Akira was 18 is irrelevant. Also, Japan only recently lowered their age of consent to 18. Not to mention the circumstances of Akira’s mental state at the time he meet the “tutor” definitely clouded his judgement. Also, if Akira was so okay with it why would he hide it? Why does he feel dirty and undeserving of Kanata’s affection? It’s so sad seeing people defend this and I’m happy to see people pushing back

Yo that’s crazy. It’s also crazier seeing people supporting his abuse. Like he was literally not in the right mental state after being bullied by his friend just for a man to swoop in and take advantage because he couldn’t get with the age appropriate brother. “Keep our balance” yeah right. It’s clear Akira was not okay with his “relationship” with the tutor and that it messed him up. He literally feels dirty and that he doesn’t deserve Kanata’s affection. I don’t know how clear it can be.

He’s a friend of Akira’s older brother and “tutored” him. They have an inappropriate “physical” relationship.

Well… the second half of episode 5 was pretty good! Fun group trip and the confession was so emotional.

Unfortunately the “tutor”/Groomer really messed up Akira. It was revealing how he emphasized on how “dirty” he was and blaming himself for being taken advantage of. It’s sad to see the victims blaming themselves even to the point he thinks he’s undeserving of Kanata.

I wish Kanata’s anger wasn’t rooted in jealousy but rather concern for his friend. Felt like it was heading that way with his “he’s old enough for a job” comment but based on the manga I know they’re not gonna go that route.

I really want Kanata to knock out that tutor or give him a verbal wake up call.

To be blunt, he uses the kid because he can’t be with the older brother.

Wow… really wasted half the episode trying to make the tutor sympathetic. Yet even skipping through those scenes it’s clear he took advantage of Kanata. That “inferior” comment was really disgusting…

Hopefully now it’ll focus more on the appropriate couple instead of grooming. I’m so close to dropping this.

Well it’s interesting and pretty funny but I don’t like the playboy type characters nor hookup culture. Haven’t seen the yaoi or read the manga but hopefully the romance develops and there’s at least a decent storyline to entertain. There’s only so much you can do with no strings to romance story and many turned out to be disappointing.

Cute but short. Their acting especially the younger lead has definitely improved since season 1. I hope they get a full series together in the future.

I don’t really enjoy Thai series especially ones from this production company but man this one is too good! The main leads are amazing actors and the story is enjoyable although it does feel like the pacing is dragging a bit. Could be because I am not used to hour long episodes. Hilarious and cute. I especially enjoy the cat and dog dynamic.

Same. I hope we get to see more flashbacks

For the (weak) plot. They probably needed something for the breakup tension and came up with the box of letters. Honestly, it feels like this was written as they were shooting because a lot doesn’t make sense even at the surface level.
