It’s also my favourite scene. I keep rewatching it (even just now). I love how gentle he was while covering his ear and letting him lean on him. I also understand what you mean about Phuwin. He’s a nuanced actor. There are so many layers and micro expressions that make his performance stand out.

I agree. We get that at the beginning she was scared to lose her job but now she doesn’t have any excuse especially as she also has feelings for him. She’s just watching him suffer through his guilty thoughts. Oh, and she’s suffering as well.

I should have trusted the comments and stayed away. I thought I would at least be rewarded with some steamy scenes which is Yan Zi Xian’s specialty but I got absolutely nothing from this. The first scene is click bait.

I kinda guessed this from the first episode when he wished his love would return and we saw it was a book of recipes.

I cried too. First for me and I have seen and loved a lot of xianxia dramas/couples.

I love how they let the main characters spend enough time together unlike other shows that’s why when they are apart it feels so wrong.

Why do people raise their children spoiled and are even proud to say it (Xu’s daughter)? I don’t find their characters cute at all. They’re mostly stupid, reckless and unreasonably entitled. There are so many characters in period dramas like this.
