The happy ending in the novel was pretty stockholm syndrom-y though wasn't it?? I know they have changed quite a bit. And I'm all for a happy ending for a black flag psycho, I prefere them lol. There is just lots of trauma and betrayal to cover in 4 eps to get to the happy ending

I don't think Lalit was betraying Veir that's about the only thing I'm sure of at the moment. Because if he was, Kelvin would have used it against Veir 💯
