I still haven't watched this masterpiece drama tho I've listened to the ost. Is it worth watching?
I just finished it today - and gave it a 10/10. I had only seen snippets of it on youtube but was intrigued by the chemistry between the characters.
Don't go in with any expectations, just enjoy it. Expectations just color your opinions and don't let you enjoy what is before you.
Having said that, I will admit that I rated almost every individual episode either a 9 or a 10 out of 10 - and that I cried at least once every episode - and that I had to pace my binging because I thought it was that good.
I've only been watching CDramas for two years and this is only the second KDrama that I have seen... but this is the first drama that I gave a 10/10 on both IMDb and MyDramalist.
I can't help but vote for Xu Kai - Bai Lu in first and second place (Legends first), then Xu Kai - Wu Jin Yan (I LOVED Royal Feast but won't watch Yanxi palace just because I know they don't have a happy ending together), then Xu Kai - Zhou Dong Yu... my preferences are quite clear aren't they.... then Xu Kai - Yang Mi, then Xu Kai... that man has a Colin Firth look that just makes you FALL.
Yang Yang has that look, too... but Xu Kai's kisses (and partners' participation in said kisses) beats the rest to dust.
Falling Into Your Smile came out around the time this article was written, I'm sure it would have made the e-sports…
Would it be considered a Rom-COM, though? I LOVED FIYS and it is still one of my favorites, but though it had comedic moments (ZGDX interactions) I wouldn't think it would be considered a comedy. Just my thought - and how I immediately justified it not being on this list under gaming.
Does anyone know who the actors are who play the following roles? Ding FangFang Mr. Ding (her father) Qiu JianXiang (the finance guy that Yang Hua dislikes)... I'm on ep 25 Mr Jia (the bank manager)
I'm waiting for Chinese Paladin Season 6. I can see both Xu Kai and Esther Yu. Is there any other actress you…
1. Seven Tan 2. Dilraba 3. Ma Si Chun 4. Xing Fei 5. and because of Chemistry... more Bai Lu, Zhou Dong Yu, Wu Jia Yi and Wu Jin Yan 6. I'd love to see him pair up with Xiao Yan (from Legends), too.
I thought SAHPH would do something but it didn't do much for him. I don't know...Xu Kai needs something explosive.…
I didn't think I would like RF - but I LOVE it and he is a big part of that (he was the reason for watching it in the first place anyhow)...
LIKM was ho-hum for me but I thought he was good... there were other parts of that series that I didn't like as much. There was so much more they could have done to make it better than even a plebian like me could see it.
I have only watched clips of SAHPH so far but will get around too it soon. I like it for him because the character is so unlike any of the roles that he has had before - even I was surprised at the performance... but I also think that it shows his breadth and depth and that he could be trusted to take on many kinds of roles.
Actually, that is one of the things that I like best about him - he can be multidimensional and still retain his charm (aside from his youth, good looks and athletic posture). The BTS always add to that for me but his performances themselves are what draw me in every time.
damn the casts- so many people from arsenal mili academy 🤭🤭
I SOOOO agree... everytime I saw another familiar face I chuckled and hugged myself. Just missing Bai Lu and Toby Lee. I had just seen a few of the other actors in other things so also got warm fuzzies from that - but every crossover to a Xu Kai move just made me giddy.
I am sad.. I dont like costume dramas/ ancient dramas.. His recent releasing dramas are all of that.. 😞😞
I didn't think I'd like them either... and others of that nature just don't reall draw me in... but I stuck with the Xu Kai ones and have really enjoyed them.
I also love ancient love poetry and watched it many times, but how do you watch up to 20 times, you're truly obsess…
I'll watch it again every time I come across a new set of English subtitles... a little more revealing each round. And once I know the story well enough, I turn off the subtitles altogether and just watch the acting.
How is ancient love poetry? Does it have many sad scenes or unhappy moments? I saw clippings and I need your advice.
Even with the sad moments, they pull you in. I keep going back to it - it is THAT GOOD. I just wish there was more at the end, that part stopped too soon.
They have before.. Movie.. They need coleb8 again with lusi..
Just watch Youtube fan edits of Autum Fairy Tale / Xu Kai and Lusi - it LOOKS LIKE they end up together (they don't show the actual groom at the wedding at the end)... and what you don't know... can make you happier.
Don't go in with any expectations, just enjoy it. Expectations just color your opinions and don't let you enjoy what is before you.

Hope that helps.
