To be honest, the storyline is not unique, but what i think is interesting is the cast, the characters are the best part of the show, i would say.

I was excited watching the first few episodes because i thought it would be a tragic drama, but i stopped on episode 6 i guess. I'm catching up with spoilers and all i see is romance, i'm kinda disappointed and i also think the pace of this drama is a little off, idk what's the problem for me, but something is not right. If the ending follows the original route, maybe i'll give it one more chance. By the way, i don't see any reason for why she fell in love with him if he was using HER FRIEND and she died afterward.

What I miss the most in this version is the feeling of superiority that the previous versions of F4 gave me (Meteor Garden 2001, Hana Yori Dango and Boys Over Flowers) they were treated like gods and students really feared them. I like this F4 because they are friendly with each other, but they don't have that strong presence. Also, Shancai( 2001 ver), Makino and Jan Di had this sense of justice and they fought for it, this Shancai( 2018 ver) is not very active.

I'm probably being naive, but I really hope Ae Sin ends up with Dong Mae, they are really interesting together and I don't see myself shipping Ae Sin and Eugene in the future, I don't think they match, I don't know if it's because of the age gap or because I don't like Lee Byung Hun, but overall I don't ship them.

Well, I won't defend a guy who hits women and treats EVERYONE like trash. Even if he had a tough childhood I don't think it's a excuse for his behavior, of course there's room for development, but I can't really sympathize someone who doesn't have any respect for anyone.
