Lawyers can't do much about this. She signed contract and didn't fullfill her end. All this social media posting…
I so agree! I bet the agency violated a clause or two from her contract and a very good lawyer would be able to find out which and use it to fight the agency.
So basically she renewed her contract with them in 2023, and after she fell ill in 2024, the agency agreed to…
Not just her paying penalties from her own pocket BUT ALSO the agency is taking money from her studio account WITHOUT HER KNOWING by pressuring her finance staff.
I'm only in episode 11, but it's so good. I ceel like the episodes are short. π€ It's funny, intriguing and I feel for them coz of their pasts. Blend of everything.
RANDOM OBSERVATION: Is it just me or this drama seems to have ALOT of cleavage π€π€£ I just noticed since episode 1. Even the FL is showing them. Normally in historical dramas like this (or the ones I've watched anyway), the only characters showing cleavage are the courtesans from those brothels. Here, most main characters are showing. π€£
sad ending is also a story!why we need alll story end with happy ending? why?
So is sad ending. Sometimes people finds help in happy endings. Gives them an outlet for their problem even for a little bit of time. Might also gives them inspiration to solve their problems. Besides, who doesn't like happy endings. I'd prefer it than sad endings. It's more satisfying. π

Because real life is sad enough. It shouldn't be sad in the fiction world too. We often escape real world in these kinds of drama and we live vicariously for their happy endings. π
I'm currently on episode 20 and Shen Ye/ He Xi's "Dad" is annoying me. Am I the only one? He's so hell bent on controlling ShenYe when it comes to his work or spending EVERY SECOND with him the he resorted to controlling him with his "illness" every chance he gets. I'm getting the vibe of someone who's hiding something and he's scared his son will find out from him. I mean he even picks him up from his work, he sulk because Shen Ye didn't drink his glass of milk before bed and guilt trip him. What's up with that? Seriously, am I the only one? Am I beingparanoid or is he a bad guy?
I Hate Break Up Stuff in such Dramas who are so Short but here it was Understandable... Why Should he Take the…
But it wasn't humiliation tho. The way I see it, the parents were really concern about their future and his profession. Especially when they find out how dangerous it could be. When they reconciled and he met with her father again, all the stuff (promises and plans) he told the father are the things he could've said the first time the father met him alone. Then the breakup could've been avoided. Coz that's the only thing that convinces the father, ML's assurance that their daughter will be okay with him. But he didn't do that. His first course of action is to end it with her WITHOUT talking to her about his insecurities. Her bestfriend was right. As for the mother, FL could take care of her. All the parents wanted was security for their daughter but he turned tail.
After watching Asian dramas for over a decade and a half, I've noticed that drama writers love using this type…
I hate it when they do that. The very worst for me is until the LAST MINUTE of the LAST episode and all we got is the leads looking at each other then THE END. That makes me so mad π
Just finished. Over all it's a good drama. As always, Esther is funny and she does "cute" successively although I know some viewers don't like her cutesy voice.
One of the downside for me was the breakup. ML breaking up with her is (in my opinion), pointless. He wanted to "step back" from their relationship because well, he was prideful and insecure with his status. He chose to break her heart instead. When in fact, everything he did after his so called break up and proving himself, he could've done it without breaking up with her. He just initiated an unnecessary heartbreak in the guise of "proving his worthy of her". The whole time they were broken up, he hasn't done anything to prove himself except re-join the nationals team and start training. Her parents didn't even bug her about anything. They reconnected even before he starts competing again.
His other reason for breaking up was he doesn't want her unhappy and struggling to defend their relationship and him to her parents. But I was like, "Hello, YOU'RE THE ONE WHO MADE HER UNHAPPY AND BROKE HER HEART". ML DID NOT think of the FL's feelings AT ALL. All he thought about is what HE thinks she needed and what HE thinks was best for her WITHOUT talking to her. He just made the decision all by himself and his conclusion was to break her heart for her to be happy. Where is the fudging logic in that? π Even them getting back together was because she made the effort and the way for them to finally communicate AND when he was explaining (I say justifying) why he did it, all I heard was I, I, I. "I did this...", "I did that..." it annoyed me even more. So yes, THE BREAKUP IS VERY POINTLESS to me and it annoyed me so vey much. He's lucky she's a sweet and kind girl.
