Some classics never lose their charm

You can definitely tell this is an older drama, but somehow that only made me appreciate it more. It has all the charm of early 2010s kdramas: a little over-the-top at times, a little dramatic, but full of heart. The blend of romance, politics, action, and family drama kept me invested throughout, and I found myself becoming more attached to the characters than I expected. The relationship between the leads was easily my favorite part. They came from completely different worlds, challenged each other constantly, and slowly learned to understand one another. Watching them grow individually and as a couple made every emotional moment hit that much harder. The supporting cast also played an important role, adding both warmth and heartbreak to the story.
Of course, there were moments that felt dated, and a few plotlines could have been handled differently by today's standards. But I never felt like those things took away from the experience. If anything, they reminded me how much K-dramas have evolved over the years.
