One of the MLs jumps off a cliff towards the end but later a person was shown wearing his necklace and it was almost as if he was trying to hide his face with a hat when the other ML was close by. So, I like to believe he's alive and they eventually meet and have their happy ever after. 🥲 At the final scene it's shown that he has returned but it also seemed like it was the other ML's imagination.. but it almost had 'the untamed's ending scene energy so I'm not sure. So, you can call it an open ending-ish situation, I guess. It's worth the watch, regardless!🙂

This was sooo good! Great pacing, good story, no unnecessary characters, gorgeous costumes, and beautiful relationship between the MLs. Got teary-eyed the last few episodes.. poor XiaoXi. Short but nicely done with gorgeous actors! ;)
I am enjoying this, adult plot (as in not teen problems and not X rated!), relationship seems natural and comfortable…
