The acting didn't make it right, but the cuteness did

As a remake, I feel like this one didn't totally follow the original. Maybe it's because the new cast is younger, but I kept thinking that they were around the same age as the original cast when they filmed the original, so I don't really understand why they changed or toned down certain parts.

I also wasn't really into the acting. The main couple lacked chemistry for me, and there weren't really many cute or romantic moments between them that gave me something to hold onto. Thankfully, the second couples made up for it, especially FrameBook. I really loved their chemistry. They honestly carried a lot of the enjoyment for me. I feel like the series made up for the lack of story and acting with how cute the cast was instead. I ended up just finding them ridiculously cute.

Honestly, I mainly watched this because I wanted to see some new faces, I wanted to see Fuse/Shane, and I've been really into BL high school series lately.

I did have pretty high expectations going into this after watching Class Crush Crisis, though. Both have newer casts, but I found myself much more intrigued and invested in Class Crush Crisis. The acting worked better for me there, and, admittedly, the cast also had more of the visual appeal I personally look for. But at least Make It Right 2026 made up for that with cuteness instead of just relying on looks.

one year of scamming and that's it?

The first episode really hooked me, and I was enjoying it up until Pai found out that Tim was a scammer. After that, the series went downhill for me. Like, why was Pai so quick to forgive Tim? He had been scamming him for an entire year, and then suddenly he was just that soft toward him. He didn't even let him suffer for a single day before forgiving him and even agreeing to let him stay with him.

I actually liked Tim's personality before he revealed his true colors. I was genuinely attracted to both Tim and Pai at that point because I liked how they were presented before everything was revealed. But once Tim showed who he really was, I couldn't see him the same way anymore. In my head, he just became a scammer, and that completely ruined the attraction I had toward his character.

Honestly, I also didn't really like how the poster and the series didn't seem to match. Even the intro felt kind of off to me. I know the whole wedding theme is supposed to fit the story, but something about the way it was presented just didn't feel right and looked a bit distracting compared to the actual vibe of the series.

Not bad, just inconsistent

Honestly, the first half was really good and had me interested, but after the college storyline ended and they started working, the pacing became pretty inconsistent for me. It felt like one episode would be really good, then the next would slow things down again, especially because of Little Jane's changing behavior. His characterization felt like it kept shifting depending on what the story needed, and sometimes it made the story feel a bit dragged out.

At first, I was more interested in Little Jane, but as the story went on, I slowly found myself leaning more toward Big Jane. His character had better development, and you could actually see him improving throughout the story. Because of that, I became more invested in his storyline as the series progressed.

The working/adult part wasn't completely bad, though. There were still good episodes and moments that I enjoyed, but the pacing kept going up and down. Sometimes the story felt like it was finally getting back on track, only for the next episode to slow down again.

Thankfully, the final episode managed to bring things back up and ended the series on a better note. Overall, I'd say it's pretty 50/50 for me. It's not exactly an amazing series, but I wouldn't call it bad either. It can still hold its own alongside some of the better series, even if it didn't completely work for me.

Also, my opinions on the characters really changed throughout the series. I actually liked P'Dan at first, but by the end, he started getting on my nerves. With Little Jane, I initially thought Big Jane would be the one I wouldn't like, but it turned out to be Little Jane instead. Still, if I'm being honest, I disliked P'Dan more in the end.

The timeline confused me more than it changed.

Honestly, I don't really see the vision with the whole timeline-changing plot. I kept wondering why Great had to go back in time in the first place, and by the end I was just confused. It felt messy, and I don't think the time-travel aspect was explained well enough.

I also didn't really feel the chemistry between the main leads. Surprisingly, I found myself more invested in the second male lead because they had way more chemistry. I especially loved how Dech yearned for Gaew. Their relationship had so much potential, but it wasn't developed enough to become a proper romance. Honestly, I would've eaten that storyline up.
