I think it's because kdramas don't usually do it. It's the same when they make a kdrama based on the japanese Korea, for the japaneses they use korean actors

Yeah I supposed she was korean, usually kdramas use korean actors (same when a kdrama is based on the japanese Korean and the japaneses are koreans actors)
