So far there's new food in each episode, the FL always cooks something new, even you see the real kitchen. It also matters the romance and the plot, so it's so balanced. I recommend you to watch it!!!!

Yeah I feel Bon appetit your majesty is more rom-com type and that's totally my cup of tea!!! Also the chemistry between the leads is REALLY good

I'm currently watching Mr Queen too, and even if the base is the same, the plot is totally different. Shin Hye-sun is portraying a man, and she plays it incredible, but her character (even if it's the queen) is a man, Yoona's one is a woman. Ofc their roles are different. Maybe Mr Queen is more your style, but tbh I'm enjoying more Bon appetit your majesty, it's more my style

With other role I would understand you but in this kdrama she's slaying, it's probably her best role so far

She lives in 2025 so they met in the past (and the book was created then) but she doesn't know it cause she hasn't live that in her current life yet. It's like a loop I guess

She doesn't care about him, she's allied with the other prince who wants to kill him

Concubines were treated as royal family members too. For example the anime 'The apothecary diaries' is based on chinese royal hierarchy and there the concubines are treated like princesses. Yeah, they're only there to give birth to children, but in case the queen doesn't have a son, the concubine's son would be the king
