On Song of the Moon Dec 18, 2022
Finished with EP 4.
I first got hooked because of the nice visuals, but I am thinking of putting this on hold.
I find the writing so supremely lazy.
And the FL is suppose to be 18 but acts and talks like a slow witted 8 year old. :-(

Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
For me, is that childishness that made her remarkable, they were way too funny and embarrassing to be taken seriously.…
But it isn`t a happy ending right?
On Twenty Five Twenty One Dec 10, 2022
Finished EP 1. I am not really interested in a drama with a FL that childish...
Does she get more mature or is there a time jump????????????????????????????????????????????
On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 1 Oct 2, 2022
Just finished with Part 2.
Most satisfying drama or series I have ever watched.
First drama I ever gave an 10/10.

I normally watch only Wuxia/Material Arts/Action focused shows. I also don´t like comedy and almost wouldn´t have watched it because of the silly trailer!
But OMG am I glad I did! Best character writing, directing and acting I have seen... maybe ever!
I really have never seen a Chinese drama with so much depth. The characters felt so real.
And the overall writing was also really good. After the two first episodes only a few more where a bit hard to get through (By comparison = most other Chinese dramas of this length would have been better with 10 or 20 episodes less - not so with this one!).
The humor at the beginning (first 3 or 4 episodes) was sometimes more annoying/exhausting than funny, but it develops a lot and in retrospect I wouldn´t change anything about it.

It really can´t be compared to any other dramas (Disclaimer: haven't watched The Story of Ming Lan) but if I had too: Nirvan In Fires story and character writing was similarly sophisticated. But while Nirvana in Fire (1) gave me chills with it´s political plot, Love LIke the Galaxy`s specialty are the beautiful sentimental moments, the character growth, the beautiful romantic scenes, the joyful momentsand yea the heartbreaking moments too. It´s one of the most realistic feeling historical shows, but unlike with The Red Sleeve it won`t leave you depressed!

Only slight con: The soundtracks for 2 or 3 scenes where weird and didn´t fit at all. + The translation on YouTube isn´t that great in the beginning and they muted and switched out a few soundtracks there, for copyright reasons. I only watched the first and last couple of episodes on YouTube but for the most part I watched on DramaNice.

As if you could tell your parents to just move and that would work. If I would kill myself, it would destroy my parents.
Life is short anyway and there is always joy to find in little things to get you through the rough periods - you just have to keep looking for them.
I wanted to be a dancer all my life, but had an accident as a trainee and haven't recovered to this day. Sitting or lying down comfortably is most of the time impossible, some days I can barely walk. I don´t know how long it will take me to recover (it´s already been a few years) or what kind of life I will be able to have then, but I still have hopes and dreams (and sometimes can even find new ones inside myself) so I won't ever kill myself.
I am grateful though, to live in my time where there is an endless music, books and tv-shows available.
If it wasn´t for that, my parent, friends and my cat, I don´t know in what kind mental state I would be.

Also "Martial Arts" does not belong in th tags!
But there aren`t any actual martial arts moves/stunts visible in the entire drama. Only Wuxia stuff.
In China lot`s of people complain that it was advertised wrong.
