It does seem that Netflix feels the need to insert sex scenes in everything.

they needed her to have a reason to want to live, which meant giving up her revenge which would mean death mentally and physically. So they bonded and then she was willing to stop the revenge and let justice do it's thing

I like fl actress ok, not necessarily a fan before. Thought she did good job. Her lack of any muscle tone didn't fit her fighting ability. Watched whole thing in two days. It was so intense. I was totally fooled by the gang boss.
