1) getting rained on, end up in hospital with IV (maybe more so in Chinese dramas?
2) couple falls down accidentally kisses.
3) wooden kisses, girl doesn't move mouth and whites of eyes are huge.
4) track suits. Love the track suits, thought that you were gonna mention them. But maybe they aren't a trope as much as they are the writers/producers trolling folks.

wow, I didn't realize that was him in Chief Kim! Great. Still I like him best in his roles as scary dudes. Oh and Chief Kim was GREAT! Agree with you on all aspects of your review.

Park Hae Jin was being tactful. If there was chemistry, the temperature wouldn't have gotten in the way.

Stopped watching after Ep 5. The so called romance of the two leads just wasn't plausible, and there certainly was no chemistry. Another commentor said Kim Min Jung's character and appearance (as written in this drama) was suitable for just comedy but not romance.
The rest of the drama was entertaining. I may go back and fast forward through Ep 6 and see if it gets better. I love Park Jae Hin and watched mainly because of him.

Yep, the writer is trolling the audience. Secret Garden did humor around the tracksuit too.

I love it. The Water God is hilarious in first few episodes, he really is pompous and conceited and it is great! This is first time I've seen a drama that sort of mocked the main lead. Also it is interesting, each character has their own separate motivation and sub plot.
This is FUN. and the leads do have chemistry. I'm really loving Nam Joo Hyuk as the Water God.

I'm just mad that I flew through the 1st 4 eps and now have to wait....

Amen. A few times I wanted to say RUN don't talk just RUN! It irritated me when those instances happened. But overall, still worth it.

does Zheng Shuang still have bamboo legs? In Love O2O (2016 drama) her thighs were skinnier than her arms. It was distracting.

Yes it's worth at least 8.9. This drama hits the ground running. It's a good mix of sci fi and drama. The script is well written, the characters grow and develop, the actors are pros. And gorgeous. It is quality all the way.

Really loving this drama. The lead actor Lee Je Hoon was the lead in "Signal" another suspense/supernatural drama. He's great in this too.
