Is this comedy-ish or just raw investigation drama?
to me it seems to be neither. It's more of a drama with touch of melo or makjang, the underdog(s) against everyone else. The female lead is clever, not just pretty, but what I like most about her is that she can't stand bullies and will defend others from them. The male lead is from a different world from them but it's interesting how they collide. There are moments when you want to cheer or yell "Yes!" I find it entertaining and satisfying to watch.
Transgender people have always existed. They are everywhere. I mean everywhere. The show isn't promoting them by having a transgender character in the show. They don't deserve anyone's hate or fear.
I cried my guts out in almost every episode I watched. The female lead was so so. While the rest of characters became better people, I feel she became a worse person.
I'll share my (probably) unpopular opinion. I've wanted to smack Ling Xi of My Mowgli Boy in the majority of episodes. I love the actress, it's her part I dislike. My lord the character Ling Xi either a) thinks she is royalty , b) needs meds really bad or c) has a serious personality disorder. And I love Ray Ma but his character Mowgli is too self righteous at times. I blame the writer.
Am I the only one who actually loves Ling Xi? I mean I don't like everything she does but I find her character…
no you're not the only one. Several commenters have said just what you said.
I think the writer made Ling Xi cringe-worthy spoiled and self centered. Perhaps she has afluenza. There are people like that in the world but eventually, hopefully they grow up.
I love this drama. It is fun, funny, entertaining at all times, creative, good writing, good acting, handsome and pretty/cute actors. I'm attached to several of the characters.
Hsu Thassapak is handsome, charming and has depth. Wang Peng is cute and even better I love that she isn't a stereotypical female lead. She's refreshing and I love that she doesn't do stupid things like you see in some dramas. Their characters really mesh together well.
The meanies are good at being mean. The premise is interesting. I'm at about ep 20 and never had to fast forward and I'm dreading it ending because - I don't want it to end. Great drama! No lazy writing or cheap plot devices.
I commend this drama for incorporating environmental issues. But I seem to have a disconnect with the way the…
The Ling Xi character is bizarre. She's a stalker, not just on boyfriends but business people. She acts crazy, supposedly an adult but having 3 year old style tantrums more than once and even in professional settings. She's self centered and expects everyone to revolve around her. The second lead Tang Cheng lacks respect for others. She seems exploitative. And I would hope the teacher would dump her for good.
I don't like how Netflix divvies it up a few eps/short season here, a few eps/short season there with a break in between. I like continuity. I'd rather they got the whole thing filmed and then splat put it up so it could be marathoned.
Why are you so rude? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything…
Rude people either are unhappy, ignorant and don't know better or they enjoy being rude and do it for attention. They drink too much hateraide. Fortunately most people at MDL are not rude.
hope to watch some of these. Anyone heard if/when The Majesty of Wolf or The Wolf is ever going to air? Filmed in 2017. https://kisskh.at/24662-the-wolf
so I'm watching and here's a scene where Ha Rip is wearing what looks to be a woman's overcoat. Well it has what look like those big shoulder pads from the 80s. I'm wondering WTH? The drama teases you throughout. It's a real Korean style drama that entertains while also sharing values.
its ep 19. And I'm dropping it...... Everything was alright except whenever the FL appears...... Her role was…
I got a little mad over ep 19. This is the episode where everyone did something really dumb. The kind of dumb I think happens when a writer is lazy and wants short cuts to thicken the plot. I almost dropped it. I loved 1-18. But I went back and the rest has been really good. I almost forgot how mad Ep 19 made me. I'm at ep 43 now and don't want it to end. But it will at 56
I'm up to ep 9 so far. It's no classic but it is entertaining. Sean Chen looks a lot like Korean actor Lee Joon-Gi but comes across maybe a bit less intense.
Let's Shake It Season 2, episodes 6-10 have been uploaded on AVV.https://www.avirtualvoyage.net/2019/02/cdrama-lets-shake-it-season-2-episodes-english-subbed.htmlApologies…
