also, again, your misfortune and tragedy does not give you the right to murder others? if your life was hell that…
totally agree with you. The writers are trying very hard, but it is very dificult to me to understand this kind of behaviour which cause so many dead to people, who did not cause their unfortunate.
Episode 18 was great! light, delicate and with the exception of a few scenes, it could be the last episode of the series. Some highlights: Confinement in this kingdom is very difficult. Confined people walk everywhere, without restrictions. The doctor and DW are really the protagonists in this series. The arc for the doctor and DW's redemption is formed. Now she is protective of ML and FL's love and regrets the path she and the doctor took...sic...
I just started the episode. DS acting like MY wasn't engaged to LG first. Also, how was LG supposed to know DS…
I had the same feeling. Like some of the series I've already watched, like Captivating the King, just 5 minutes before the end, ML and FL meet again and it appears that they will stay together. This type of ending is very disappointing and not creative at all. I'm rooting for the writer to write something more creative.
Indeed, that was weak writing. Even when his grandfather's life was at stake, while he was being tortured, still…
I agree with you, the reasons that cause all the events are weak: 1. The GP's anger at not knowing why he shouldn't be the CP. (so that he is not traumatized, sic...) 2. The deaths, the plot and the entire persecution of CP by DW and FL's father (because they simply want to be together, sic...). They don't want power...sic..., that's very hard to believe. So, the writer should have tried to write a smarter and more believable story.
At this point I ask myself: Why not tell GP what CP and the queen believe will happen once GP becomes CP: 1. They really think he will be traumatized. And? Will he be less traumatized when he knows what caused people and politically by not understanding the reasons? 2. They don't believe him, they think he's immature. And what are they doing to make him mature? both the CP and the queen do not consider him to be an adult and worthy of trust. Therefore, he may be very angry.
and episode 16 shows CP's love for his father and his family, but how he and GP's mother do not trust GP's maturity and judgment. Because neither of them think he would be capable of acting with dignity. Because he is immature and stupid, he harms everyone. It's the CP and the queen's fault. They didn't give him a chance to understand the situation since he is incapable of understanding it on his own. The king finally wakes up, but we don't know if he is safe in this chaotic situation. In terms of performance, I think that both FL and 2ML still have the tools to act as their roles require.
The reason for CP not to tell his brother why his brother can't be crown prince is very weak. But for the GP not to put two and two together and realize that his father will be killed as soon as he becomes the CP, is very dumb. The writer could have looked for a more believable reason for the GP's anger
In this episode 14 what I noticed: 1. The smartest and most evil person in this series is FL's father. After so many deaths and attempted murders, he made a doctor lie about the death of the real tester and then killed him. 2. The most desulisional person in the series is DW. She accepts everything FL's father does and seems to suffer from it. 3. The most immature, interspective and dumb one in the series is 2 ML. He knows, or should know, that he is being manipulated and that when he is become CP, his father will die, but he thinks he will "protect" his mother and the woman HE LOVES. I really don't think the actor is having a good performance lately. 4. I think that FL is still an actress who doesn't have all the tools to show all the emotions that the role requires. 5. The crown prince is alone fighting a plot in which he has many enemies or friends and relatives getting in the wrong way. He needs better partners. I like the actor, but he could be more expressive in his performance. 6. The story is confusing but interesting and I keep watching it.
