I'm liking how the story is unfolding, although I agree that the love story of DW and FL's father is being shown much more than that of ML and FL and this DW story is not the one I would like most to know.
But ML is a person of integrity, loving and concerned about his family. So this is a different plot from those normally shown in historical series. There are 20 episodes and a lot of water will still flow under this bridge

Yes! episode 7 was so light. I hope this serie continues with this vibe: king lovely family, brothers who love each other, stepmother who loves her stepson. More romance and less palace intrigue. This would be a different historical série.
