This final ep. gave me more questions than answers... Till Iast ep. I was able to make it through some questionable things but now? This final ep. felt so rushed... I hope they make a special ep. showing Mark and Tong's marriage and the little house and family they were planning to have together.
Anyways, this journey was so sweet! I'm so grateful that I was able to follow JG's growth couple time before their debut in MGB and get to see them grow bigger as a ship throughout this 3 mouths. MGB era ended but JossGawin will continue to entertain their fandom ❤️! Lots of love for Joss, Gawin, Mond, Neo, Ark and the whole MGB team! 🥰❤️
Hey, there! Mind if I present my observations over your comment?I'm also curious about Antie Wan's whereabouts…
From what I remember the novel doesn't explain it... but we can assume that maybe it was just for revenge? The closest to the enemy the better? Like a :"if you can't beat your enemy join them" – kind of thing.
P.S.: In the novel it wasn't Nakan's friend who got k*lled by Thara but his wife and kid – something like that.

Exactly you got my point! The "resting" for vampires "is" the golden blood – when they take it they regain their full energy. Without it they'll be in that weakness state forever.
Nakan's friend was a human. Nakan too was a human when he saw Thara m*rdering his friend.
I was thinking this like can he not control other vampires by mind💀☠️
I'm sorry I made a mistake writing my previous comment. Nakan can't hypnotise vampires and the golden blood bearers. And yh, it seems like Nakan's past friend had golden blood too.
AHAHAH! Nakan looks b*tchy at Tong as if he was like, I've my opportunity right in front of me but I'm unable to take advantage of it cause of some d*mn deal I did with Mark.

I think this was a writing issue. Mark can use his healing powers on vampires and Tong however Nakan seem unable to do it to them but to humans and animals. Or maybe it's just like it should be – with no further explanation.

The novel is clear about somethings but, believe it or not, the series feels more complete.
This is fiction so sometimes things are written to justify an implicit intention and that can turn out to make a scene less credible – like ep. 11 last scene. In the end of the day, Mark and Nakan cannot beat Thara relying on their own strength, and that should be clear by now – even tho they didn't lay hands on her. She's weak but still very powerful. Every vampire around her is under her wing cause she turned them. Thara not simply used her powers many times throughout her LONG life but abused and overused them – again, vampires get weaker over the time the more they use (abuse/ overuse) their powers the weaker they get. For instance: What's more tiring? Running or walking a whole hour straight? In which do you spend more energy? This was an exemple to depict how vampire's weakness work in MGB universe – some do a marathon by walking others by running but they still immortal they only get weaker over the time.
Thara is OLD, but the novel doesn't mention her age either. Neither Mark knows.
I didn't get the "still he can use it well without problems and without murdering Golden Blood". But if I got it right: Nakan didn't kill Tong cause he was waiting for the right opportunity to drain Tong's blood to be powerful enough to take down Thara.
It's interesting how auntie Wan's just disappeared. Like she doesn't matter anymore. Also I don't know why Mark…

I'm also curious about Antie Wan's whereabouts – still waiting for her appearance in the last episode. But I must point that her role in the series is as Mark's godmother also, as shown, she's some kind of "vampiric healer" – just it. She was unable to feel empathy towards Mark's newly emotional experiences since she's an emotionless vampire, so Mark couldn't rely on her but to face it by himself – he once tried to communicate it to her tho.
Mark and Nakan's sudden weakness in ep. 11 is not by chance, you know why? – they're facing Thara, the real enemy. She didn't directly lay hands on them but her "army" did, so her "power" overpowered them. Plus, Mark feels pain now so althought having vampiric strength he can feel that same strength from other vampires on his body – overwhelming is it? INS about Nakan tho, he tasted the golden blood so one may assume he "feels" now.
MGB universe doesn't follow those traditional hierarchies we're used to so Thara upholds absolute power. That's why Mark – younger than Nakan – was promised as the only heir of Thara's monopoly. What makes a vampire weaker is time – the more they use their powers the weaker they get. A recently turned vampire is as strong as one couple centuries old.
JossGawin is having a terrific debut with such big numbers and all this love they're receiving from around the globe! With no doubt, I claim this pairing as my fav and one and only living rent free within my heart...
I'm hoping for them to do more series together as leads cause their screen presence and chemistry are too good to go to waste.
Does the show ever explain how vampires are able to walk in the sun?
This rare vampire breed is only found in thai bioma – they evolved enough to be able to be exposed to sun light. Some scientists affirm they found hints of vampires in north Africa, but they're yet to prove their existence there with 100% accuracy. Thai vampires have this thing called melanin and sunscreen to help them with the UV rays.
I wander if Mark and Tong happend to say hello to them. It's Ladybug and Cat Noir's favourite spot of Paris.

Does the series make a lil more sense to you now?

The plot cleared some things up about vampires in the beginning of the series – ep. 3 I think 😅.

Pretty interesting isn't it?
Thara can fool everyone and everything with her "sent abroad" card – at least she tries.
