i just started sub the drama, i hope someone doesn't beat me at the punch.
If you are good with your subtitle, there's a lot of Chinese dramas that are not yet sub to English. Create a website where you can post your subtitled shows. Charge us with a minimum fee no downloads allowed. I suggest not monthly but rather quarterly. Spy Hunter is another series that I really like and others as well. But Youtube MangoTV has only subtitled it until episode 11.

What do you think of getting in touch with them and offer to do the subtitle but with a minimum fee. Or you can limit the view from FB and downloads not allowed. Is there such function?

Is there not a way for you to stop that or tell them to at least pay you a little fee. None of them has subtitled this yet. What I notice the ones that immediately get sub are the famous dramas or that starred the young or teen idols.
I also like that they cast matured actors & actresses. Though Zhang Nan & Wu Jin Yan are not really that matured yet they're young but I like their acting skill so far. I find Zhang Nan very beautiful from The Legend of Haolan.

My pleasure. Question: Is the Qin Dynasty Epic worth my time? I'm currently on episode 6 and decided to paused from watching due to its extremely slow pace and seemed to be a caricature portrayal of the characters. Kind of disappointing because I find Qin Shi Huang a very interesting historical figure. I don't have Chinese blood but I LOVE history. I can't get over with the actor's performance from Legend of Haolan who played the young Qin Shi Huang. He embodied the characteristics of the would be young emperor.

That site has Kurulus Osman in there. It dramatizes the life of the Ottoman Empire's founder. The link below is also free and it has a lot of international historical dramas subtitled in English. I believe some shows are available on Netflix. She can go to different countries.:)
Spain: El Ministerio del Tiempo - you'll encounter a lot of Spanish historical figures. I find it very entertaining. Set in modern times but the main cast time travel. Isabel: it dramatizes the life of queen Isabel of Castille
One of my faves from Germany is Deutschland 83. Set during the cold war in the 80s - espionage. She can also have her French connection, Russian love, Nordic goodness & many more. :O

I'm glad she enjoyed it. Check this link and you can recommend this to your mom. Create an account for free. Once you decided on the title of the series: Click episode 1> scroll down>click on Player 2. Hercai - made me fall in love, cry and full of rage. This Turkish drama is full of angst set in modern times but set in the country's conservative area. It's primarily about revenge and love. Caution: Men in this part of the globe behave differently. I believe you know what I mean. Just keep an open mind. For me the sound track in this series is so good and also helps set the tone of the show. All the shows in this site are subtitled in English.

Hello my friend! I was MIA from MDL for months. Was your mom able to finish the series? I believe you're referring to Magnificent Century: Kosem. If not here's the link from Youtube. I suggest to watch ASAP before they pull off the videos. It seems the creators of this series are very strict.
What is this a 12 year old looking general so called God of War? Did he start his training at age 5? Must be tough. TBH I am kind of entertained with this series, shockingly to admit. The plot is good & very intriguing. The main cast's physical appearance don't fit with the narrative but they're able to pull it off with their acting. Female lead's bangs is so distractingly annoying.

It's not but thank God it isn't because it would ruin the show. I believe Netflix has it but incomplete not sure... This series I've mentioned gives you a glimpse of the Ottoman empire - politics, intrigues, how their harem operates is very interesting. High production, great cast & the subtitle is better. For me it's very riveting. Just try it, most of the characters are historical figures and quite fascinating. Of course the story has been romanticized.
Nota bene: Turkish dramas are longer per episode than Koreans. They also love to use a lot of slow motion but you can speed it up. You will also encounter several doses of harem scenes.

You're welcome. Just want to share this: MDL has rated low The Legend of Hao Lan (7.8) & Imperial Doctress (7.9). Both are really incredible dramas, superb production, great location & cinematography. Aside from fantastic cast & their terrific acting. If you like the Story of Yanxi Palace, The Legend of Hao Lan has almost the same cast but completely different story. It's a must watch for me if you are into history. This is loosely based on the mother of Qin Shi Huang Di (1st emperor of China). There's romance, politics, tragedy, friendship & of course palace intrigues. The cast were really appropriate for their parts.
