For Lee Gyeong, his motivation is more to prove to his innocence to his family than just revenge. So, for him,…
Nothing logical when it comes to love. Lee Gyeong said it himself in Ep 12 during confrontation with his father, "If I turned everything back and avenge those bastard, I thought you'd believe my innocence. Even when I wanted to die because I was so miserable, I endured everything, wanting to do just that."

I bitterly regret having watched till the end. In the first episode I thought the vibes would be black humour…
For Lee Gyeong, his motivation is more to prove to his innocence to his family than just revenge. So, for him, he couldn't really live a good life until his family accept him...
Kim Youngkwang is an exceptional actor! His role as Lee Gyeong in Walking On Thin Ice solidified his talents in acting. I really hope people in entertainment industry more appreciative of his abilities. I feel like he's been ignored...idk if his model background made them underestimate him as an actor, when he's proven time and time again that he's very capable...
Remember sooo many bad comments about age gap in so many dramas?? Like ... Beyond the Bar, about 40% of the comments…
I'm with you. I don't really care about age gap as long as both are adult. There's affection between them that grew when they worked together. They understand each other, and even their personality click. Of course the present time of the drama wasn't the right time for them. Maybe some time in the future...
I don't understand why they have to make Lee Gyeong going through so much. Yes, selling drugs was wrong. But, he already paid for his crime by going to jail. He even assisted the prosecutors to catch some drug lord. Also, his character development is very positive. From a selfish man who only care about his mission to someone who unselfishly helped other people. He literally saved Sua's life, and ready to take all the blame so Eunsoo could be free. And his revenge was not just a grudge against Hwirim, but mostly rooted from his desire to prove his innocence to his family. For the lesson of how bad drugs is we already have Taegu who died alone next to the bag of drugs and money he killed so many people for. And Hwirim, who died of overdose in prison. Why punished Lee Gyeong too? He's already living in hell for 10 years. Alone. No family. No close friend. Imo, if anyone deserves a redemption, a chance to live happily, Lee Gyeong is the one. I wish the drama show at least a hint that he chose to live. Maybe just a short clip of him walking down the stairs and out of the building, meaning he didn't jump...
It's ironic that Eunsoo married a man with similar traits with her father. Traits that literally broke up her family (her father lend money to his friend, causing some financial ruin to his family, his wife -Eunsoo mom- leave, Eunsoo grew up poor, without a complete set of parent and only has high school diploma). I mean, I get being kind and wanna help others but please know your limit, learn some boundaries, and for f*ck sake, put your family first! What's the point of helping others when your own family suffer because of it? Eunsoo has been working part-time to cover their live expenses while her husband busy playing saint to others. And in the end, where did it get them? Nowhere. No one helps with the debt and the cancer treatment. Call me a bad person, but these kind of people really get in my nerves. Preaching about kindness to others when they failed the people close to them.
It's either Husband dies or Daughter did something in time. Glad they didn't write off husband character just…
I feel like Yeoju arc haven't finished yet? She couldn't leave things just like that knowing how obsessed she was with Eunsoo's family...the husband probably die and she probably will blame Eunsoo and do something unhinged idk
The husband probably will die, get shot protecting Eunsoo from Taegu... Poor Lee Gyeong π’ his years of hard work just vanished...can't wait for the finale... I really really really hope he'll get a good ending...
It's been a long time since Kim Youngkwang did romcom, and I'm so ready for his character to have a happy ending
