Very fun comedy action flick! The story is simple and the chemistry is good. Kim Youngkwang is very good actor. He did the comedy naturally, not over the top. And when his character turned serious, the change in his eyes are subtle but very clear.
The drama is enjoyable enough. Cinematography is very good, the acting is also good. There are some uncomfortable parts for me, especially when Hongrang flirting with Jaeyi while trying to convince her he's her brother. Jaeyi falling in love with Hongrang also felt a bit rushed. As for the ending, although I'm a fan of happy endings, bc of the overall tone of the drama indicates a sad ending so I'm not very surprised of how it ended.
But I'm a bit confused on little Hwisu timeline... So, he was a slave and a living talisman for a rich family and then he and Insoe was bought by some lady... so, when did he became the Grand Prince captive? Did I miss something?
Also no explanation about the origin of Snow Man, why he got that tattoo in his neck, what's his relation with the Grand Prince. And his wig suck...
To think that Yeori and Gangcheol once had an amicable relationship (in the flashback, when she was playing in the river and smiled widely at him) and it was destroyed bc she thought he killed her grandma...so sad... But of course, if they're in good terms and she accept him as patron deity and pray him away to heaven, this story won't exist haha I hope the misunderstandings will be cleared and we'll get a happy ending
I think he didn't wanted her to go after the eight feet ghost when she was younger it was better for her to believe…
Yeah, could be it...but why not spin it to his advantage like be my disciple and I'll help you be a strong shaman to avenge your grandma stuff like that? But idk...let's see what happens next week...
I KNEW Gangcheol didn't kill Yeori's grandma! I thought Yeori just assumed he killed grandma bc he was standing there at the crime scene but turned out he actually told her he killed grandma? No wonder she hates him... Kinda defeat his purpose to make her accept him as her patron deity, don't you think? Like, why would she serve her grandma's killer? Now we'll have to wait next week to know the reason...
And, we were blessed with Kim Youngkwang appearance! even just for a few second... huhu i miss him... no airing date for KYK and Kim Namgil drama yet...
Ugh I hope nothing will happen to Bibi, I really like him...when the blind shaman noticed him, I'm scared the shaman will use him for one of his evil plan...
Also, the king and Yeori has some kind of connection?? It's all go back to Yeori's grandma...wonder what it was...
One more complaint about Gangcheol's power... he can command wind, command lightning bolts, why can't he command water which is literally his elements? Wouldn't it be so cool if he's doing some water bending to catch this drowned ghost?
We're eating good š„
