The exciting part of episode 24 was the noodle dinner with Nina and the nerd 🫠🫠, not the kiss (although it was a quality kiss).

My feeling is that this a niche drama; definitely not for everyone. But lots of people watched it for the ML, rather than the genre. Mismatch between the viewers and the genre.

I watched the same last episode as you. A drama full of flawed humans making difficult decisions. This is real life. Grief is hard. Adults have to take responsibility in ways that limit their freedom but also bring joy and richness.

Have you tried downloading the episodes and watching with your wifi/data turned off to avoid the ads?

It's really excellent even if you don't normally watch historicals. Well worth your time.

From past experience, Youku will generally continue to release an episode a day or an episode every day that VIPs get two episodes a day until the drama ends. I've never experienced Youku not finishing all episodes for non VIPs; it's just very slow.
