does anyone have recommendations for dramas that have bromance like this drama and beyond evil?
Life on Mars,Life on Mars and Life on Mars hehe if you want a nice bromance. But it's not likw Beyond Evil, the latter is quite dark and serious unlike LoM which has a lot of funny moments.
I'm sorry, did I read something wrong? Is a divorced woman going to fall in love with a high school student beacuse there is a romance tag?How old is that student?I just find the plot a little odd that's why I'm asking.
I am stuck at episode three. I like the aesthetics of this drama I suppose, but while I understand why this is fresh for kdrama standards I can't ignore how mundane the things they are doing are.College students messing around with each other,ok...Even in piece of life dramas there is usually....well, some drama you know.He says he ain't in for a relationship, she knows but she proceeds cause he is hot,old news.Probably dropping this for good (not rating it because obviously it's just not my cup of tea and I can't say they did a bad job).
The pain of a blood spilled uprising, the joy and pride of conquered freedom are all something many nations carry in their history. And of course the personal pain of loss that everyone understands at some point. The reason why I respect this drama so much is because it trully focused on the big picture and not just the romantic leads. It really was about the youth of May,the youth that can always find a way to set things right and change the world.
I skipped most of Jamie and SW scenes lol,I found absolutely nothing interesting about their interactions although…
Yeah,I think his character is meant to be stiff.I mean,I'm not saying the acting was top notch but I think we can all agree it wasn't in general...I found that most of them were overacting. The most natural one was Carson for me.
I honestly loved this show! I know a lot of people complain about the laugh track but you guys have to keep in…
I skipped most of Jamie and SW scenes lol,I found absolutely nothing interesting about their interactions although I don't mind them as characters on their own.The humour was mostly not there for me but as I commented before it did get better after episode 3 and the episodes were relatively short so I watched it all.I actually liked Hans,I don't know why but I tend to like annoying characters in tv shows (Sheldon form TBBT for example) and I lost it when he went to perform his grandfather's jesa, that was funny.
Cha Eun Woo's acting cannot be saved by his pretty face. Cringe! Can somebody teach this guy how to act!
Oh my god I thought I was the only one!I actively avoid anything he is in because I can't stand his acting, the way he speaks gets on my nerves.I liked Rookie historian because he was supposed to be just an air headed pretty boy anyway but I can't watch him in general.Nor do I actually find him attractive.I've been just lurking in the comment section because I am still curious about this drama but I can feel the cringe from afar.
Two episodes in and I truly don't understand the humour,I didn't laugh once.I have enjoyed Korean comedy before…
Update: It does get better after episode 3/4,not great but a little better.I might be the only one who wanted more of Hans though,he was the only funny character to me (and Sam perhaps).
Two episodes in and I truly don't understand the humour,I didn't laugh once.I have enjoyed Korean comedy before so I don't think it's the cultural difference...this is not for me :/
I don't think it was unreasonable for the ML to not believe the FL. To be fair, while they both understood each…
I feel bad for the ML but I won't blame the FL for not staying. It's been known that the ML had some traumatic experience with his job, followed by anger outbursts and that he's been obsessed with that drug dealer throughout the series.I just feel that everyone has been so focused on the FL,him,us,herself that we tend to forget that. What she's been through is horrible and I've never been annoyed by her behaviour since I know she is not in control but she's not right for him atm.Not because she is bad,but because she clearly can't deal with more stuff or support him.The moment she actually saw him lose control, she was out (and I get it,the last thing she needs rn is a violent person) even though she knew he had anger issues.I think she could forgive him for not believing her but the violent outburst was the final blow.On the other hand he is still not "well" despite getting his paper. It's not just that he was violent,I understand his frustration, but once again he acted on an impulse just like he had back then at the incident with the police . He risked having the FL in legal trouble for making her bf beat her ex and as a person who works with the law he should have thought of that.Honestly I don't even know if he can do this job at all but they certainly can't support each other properly.
I can't believe this turned so depressing so fast.I know I should have expected this since the drama deals with serious issues after all,but still...Do you think it's one of these dramas that are super realistic and they won't get back together or that we'll get happy ending after all?
I don't know why, but this drama is starting to go downhill for me. It's just not doing it for me. Can't seem…
I think I know what you mean,I have loved this drama all all its cringyness, fluffyness etc but the last two episodes were a bit boring to me because things got serious in drama that wasn't supposed to be serious. However since I have watched the movie I was actually expecting that so I am just going to keep watching until things get fluffy again.
