So Buyeon wasn't really Buyeon,it was a woman who had already lived her life so she gave up the body for the one who had a future in this lifetime, people she loved. How fitting,I loved it. The ending was good imo,it's just that it got a little draggy since not much happened in part 2 in general. Also, the prince was one of my favourites for sure!
Can I ask why you feel that way about the show now? I personally still think it’s amazing especially todays…
While I also find the change of demeanour strange,I believe it's because she is actually of noble birth therefore she knows exactly how to behave properly in the palace,if anything it must have come like second nature to her after returning to be among the nobles.
He's kind, protective , masculine, not a crybaby like the king,, he is really sweet, understanding , open-minded…
Idk,maybe I want for the FL to be actually attracted to him? Including physical attraction, there is clearly none. All the spark is with the king,it's called chemistry and I would also add that not hating your friend for liking the same girl (who actually likes him back!) is plain decency, either you accept it or you both agree not to make a move (which is unfair for the third person involved imo)...not to mention I hate how he keeps trying to convince the lead couple to break apart (mainly the FL) even though he can see they both fancy each other.
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THIS GIVES RED SLEEVE VIBES!!!!
Hmmm, unlike the Red Sleeve I doubt the FL will have any existential thoughts about being a woman in the palace, this drama is much lighter than that. We will probably even get a royal wedding in the end ;)
This drama was AMAZING in the start. I would find myself looking forward to the next epi to see what So Rang is…
It's the opposite for me,I didn't love the start and I couldn't see their chemistry but now even the king's frustration is clear and I love it. Sadly they will break apart once she tells him the truth about the whole spirit possession but they'll end up just fine. I know, especially she is of noble heritage (girl qualifies to be queen, not just a concubine).
Although he looks as youthful as his age,he somehow carries himself with a more oldschool - old Hollywood male lead manly vibe, seems more mature from all the pretty boy actors. It's a very unique trait.
I remember that most of the original cast wasn't meant to return,I wonder if they just wanted to do other genres (SK seemed to be ruled by romantic dramas until recently, but the trend has been changing lately) but then I also read that SH is one of the most successful netflix kdramas - that must have changed their minds.
difficult to say. The drama is not done by OCN this time around and instead done by tvn, for me personally that…
Interesting,I hadn't noticed the network change and that might be the reason I'm not into it this time around. OCN somehow gives a special vibe to a lot of their shows,an almost otherworldly feeling supported by the editing and background music. This time the show doesn't have this same feeling to me if it makes sense.
Am I right in assuming that you like Star Trek, The Big Bang Theory, and you are also a fan of Jim Carrey?(or…
I like Star Trek,TBBT but not a fan of Carrey,at least not his comedic roles - too much of physical humour for me (crazy about eternal sunshine though)
Honestly,I didn't find the first episode that bad,in fact I had a few laughs. And while Haru is in fact unlikeable, that is exactly the point of him at the moment...what can I say,I enjoy my clichés from time to time and that's exactly why I watch stuff like this. My only issue is that there isn't enough of a story for hour long episodes,45 minutes would have been more than enough.
This is exactly like my opinion, Japan has the most amazing stories among Asian countries but they lack direction.…
I do agree about the direction as well. It's almost as if javanese directors simply grab a camera to record what's happening (well not all of them) but a lot of the stories have the potential to be artistic masterpieces.
This has some funny lines but I'm personally pretty bored otherwise. Chemistry is everything in kdramas and this lead couple is certainly not one of those who make you swoon at first sight for me. However I like the premise so I will just try to keep watching.
