Yeah I agree. Also A frozen flower was really good! Honestly one of my favourite under the mature tagged movies
Ikr! A Frozen Flower was the reason I got into K-dramas/movies in first place. I loved it so much I watched it like 12 times till now and am still planning to re-watch it again even though I'm not really into the whole re-watching thing lmao

It’s a fail for me sorry. The people whose children were killed are not languishing in agony every episode because…
Exactly! They tortured and raped the orphan kids like it's nothing, then lived their lives as if nothing happened, you actually think such people will be that caring towards their own kids when they did all that to innocent kids before?!

They are trash who only care about their own lives and wealth. Their kids had nothing to do with their heinous crimes, so it was pointless to kill them. It greatly shows from how they are still trying so hard to put the blame on each other and keep the secrete hidden after what happened to their own kids thanks to them. They don't even deserve to be called human beings cause they have zero regret and sympathy.

okay but something I will never understand in kdramas is how mothers just leave their kids in the most insane…
Actually something similar happened in my country before like a month or so, a mother left her daughter in a street in a neighborhood, telling her to wait for her till she come back but never came back and the kid kept waiting silently till it was dark, later after a day or two passed with the kid sitting there people finally approached her and took her to the police and realized she was tortured since she had burn scars all over her back.
I'm not sure what happened next, but they didn't really manage to find her mother and I guess the kid was put in an orphanage or something.
And many people will be saying stuff like "No parent will harm their child blah blah" worshiping all parents, what a joke!

This might sound like I'm venting, but hear me out: (also does not contain any spoilers)Nearly a day has passed…
Wait, this drama is inspired by real case? What's the case name? I want to read about it...
Also if that is the case then using this drama as more of an entertainment purpose than a way to show the messed up things victims had to go through, and showing how the assholes who tortured them paid the price like other dramas/movies (Like Silenced, Children, and A Taxi Driver for example where they managed to show the horrors people went through, and it was actually educating and terrifying. They all were almost a documentary).

I don't think it's right to use actual suffering of people as a "form of inspiration" to make entertainment that doesn't properly show how dark and disturbing the whole thing is, though I'm not trying to slander the watchers or whatever if they enjoy it still. My issue here is that in the drama plot they kinda make the boys/victims here more as psycho revenge maniacs/monsters who would even harm people who has nothing to do with their suffering pay the price (The kids of the people who tortured them I mean) than make them truly victims...something just feels off with the writing. There isn't enough understanding and sympathy for the victims to cut it short.

can't be bothered to write a review. i really liked this drama until it started veering towards the direction…
I totally agree with you, as someone with shit parents who both abused and abandoned me and older brother who bullied the shit out of me (Not saying this for sympathy, I'm already an adult now, and I just want to prove your point), yeah what happened to me made me depressed and have other issues (I did wish they would just die and leave me alone, and did have violent and suicidal thoughts every now and then in my darkest moments, not gonna lie), but it didn't make me want to actually go murdering people, or attack anyone in my family for revenge. I never even hit anyone in my life till this day and instead I preferred to live a decent life, avoid all mistakes they done in their lives, and become much better than them, than just throw the rest of my life away all to revenge.

Just cause someone did something awful to you, it doesn't instantly make you turn into a monster like them, some people end up becoming even more kind due to it with people with similar issues cause they understand how awful it feels. I highly dislike the message of this drama. Instead of making the assholes who made the kids suffer pay for it, they made it seem as if they are also victims in a way, made their kids who had nothing to do with it pay the price, and made the actual victims seem like monsters, what is this shit?!

Everyone likes Yeo jin until they meet one in real life😬
I don't like her, but I understand her point of view and logic. Doesn't mean all things she did weren't awful though.

Ju Hee is the main reason I feel like dropping this at episode 8. It's 2022, yet we still get female leads who…
I also almost dropped the drama cause of her at some point. Typical dense, weak, and overly naïve saint FL. Though I wouldn't say I literally hate her, but I got tired of this overused type of character already, and I can't stand how meek the authors like to make women in dramas, and yet every male in the show will be obsessed with said character to death.

Why is no one questioning the 100million payment for a car? -_- (I'm on episode 6)
Don't worry, it's not the last nor only plot hole you will come across lmao (I watched all 12 episodes released so far).

Yeah he is realistic and relatable, not just an innocent goody two shoes.
Exactly! Unlike Juhee whom they turned into a total Mary Sue/Saint at this point. Everything is about her and everyone are obsessed with her for years, I don't hate her at all, but I got tired of her cause she is a bit too dense and one dimensional to me.

The fact that both dudes can't get over her and her boring ass personality after a whole decade is just too much.

I do find Yeojin annoying with how she tried to make Seungcheon fall for her by force by threatening and controlling him, instead of making him see the good side in her, but at least as a character she is way more complex and interesting.

Why the fuck The Golden Spoon is not on Top Airing Shows?!
Yeah, the plot is very interesting and unique, acting is on point, and the cast is great so it does deserve a bit more fame.

I'm sorry but this movie was a bit ass to me. Like a porn movie with a kinda decent plot. They tried so hard to make the plot dark, deep, emotional and artistic blah blah like many other movies do, but the result was just boring, funny at moments that are supposed to be sad, and rushed as fuck! The editing was also odd, they just jump from one scene to the other and the acting was meh. Sex scenes were more gross than emotional and understandable.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for nudity and all that, but some nudity and sex stuff are enjoyable even if they aren't lovey dovey and mostly about lust (Like the Korean movie A Frozen Flower, sex scenes and nudity there actually added a lot to the movie and emotions), but the ones here were just bleh.

Only new thing about this movie that I don't really see in other mature tagged movies is that they actually showed the characters dicks, would be better if they made it a straight up porn movie lmao

Here is the typical I'm going alone to the bar to drink my sorrows, get ugly drunk, accept drink from strangers,…
They always love to show the females characters as dumb, weak, and childish so that the male lead will shine as he plays the knight in shining armor role rescuing the helpless damsel in distress in most of these dramas lmao

Just finished 9 episodes and the amount of super annoying and pointless characters that shouldn't exist in the plot or at least not given that much screen time is startling.

Especially that Yuna and the shaman hag (I don't know why they had to add the whole shaman thing to make the plot even more illogical and comic and don't get me started with their obsession in Kdramas with teen girls with shit attitude and mindset that cling to the main characters and almost ruin everything with their childish spoiled crap, tons of crime/thrillers got those awful and unbearable brats and we are supposed to find them cute or funny?! I don't understand exactly...), not hating on the drama, I still enjoy it, but some parts of the plot and some characters are hard to accept.

my biggest issue with the show is the entire first arc, during which SJ was clearly shown to have memories of…
I had a feeling the MC was actually their real son and the adopted one was the judge and when the mother was wondering if he remembered something she was talking about their "Perfect son" AKA the judge. His whole high IQ does seem to fit with the whole center kids plot more unlike the MC who is too childish and simple minded.

They tried so hard to make MC seem like a psychopath killer hiding by playing the role of detective at first, then made him seem like a victim who is just trying to get revenge, but that made it obvious in a way. It's the same thing they did with Big Mouth drama...the writers try so hard to make the plot seem all complicated and intelligent, but end up ruining it completely in the end and you're right it feels insulting to the watchers, since this is a thriller/crime show they should be more careful with the plot. I can handle crap plots and characters in romance and comedy genres which seems to be the trend, but not with dark and serious plots like those.
