Exactly! They ruined his character and turned him into a dumbass like the second male lead. He just got to know the FL, when did he become into her this much?! To the point where he is basically abandoning everything, including his passion to his job.

Ep 8 :
1- The FL's ex fiancé is finally getting tortured by his guilt for real I see. I like that, but I still wish he would stop being insecure about Shi Woo. Like his wife and the ML already broke up, stopped living together and barely interact, does he really need to keep whining over it and bother his wife like that? At this point he doesn't has any right to judge her, he cheated on his fiancé with her and now he is also trying to hurt his wife by being overly jealous and distrusting. This way their marriage will end up in such an ugly way.
If him and FL decide to stay as friends for some reason in future episodes, that's fine as long as he doesn't keep trying to force himself on her and ruin the relationship between her and Shi Woo after all the crap he done to her. Hope he gets mature enough to let her be happy on her own. It's funny how he calls Shi Woo a womanizers when he himself is a cheater...

2- Not gonna lie, I'm starting to really like glasses dude (Can't remember his name) and the kinda older woman working with them. They are basically the only truly mature characters in the whole show. They deserve more screen time. I also like how they both have strong personalities and don't hesitate to be honest even if it makes them savage literally at times.

3- Why are everyone getting jealous over everyone? I mean at least the main leads let out all negative thoughts instantly by arguing and discussing as soon as they meet, instead of just keeping it inside till it turns into a bomb, I know they want to make the story more dramatic by adding angst or whatever, but seriously I wish they will stop it already. Instead of making them fight or be insecure around each other all the time, wish they would give them more sweet moments and let them get closer and improve their chemistry. I still can't 100% feel the spark. Four main leads all work in same building so of course they all gonna keep meeting and interacting almost daily, if they throw a tantrum every time they are together they all will never be happy and the plot will become awfully repetitive.

I hope they won't make them break up when others find out about their relationship or something of the sort after all this. I also don't see why it's a big deal for lovers to live together, they were dating back then. Why it's such a shame that the wife wants to hide it so much?!
I liked when Shi Woo ignored his ex gf questions. She indeed doesn't have the right to ask him about his new gf.
Her and her husband were cheaters then they get upset over their exes dating. I don't understand what's going on with everyone mindset. If the second lead is that upset about his wife living with Shi Woo in past, then why he didn't also scold her for not being a virgin when being with him as well? (Sarcasm here).

4- They actually ended up fighting like thugs in workplace front of others...really? Really? How much more childish are their action gonna get?! They were wrong for letting their emotions make them fight like that, it was quite the retarded scene. It's mostly second lead male's fault since he punched the ML first, I get the ML would want to defend himself in response, but was it supposed to be funny? Personally it wasn't for me.
At this rate they are gonna become even more immature than 10 years old kids. Instead of growing they are going backward. I totally felt the frustration and disappointment of their chief when he scolded them. They could get fired for it.
Glad at least FL defended Shi Woo, Their scene at that restaurant was cute, not gonna lie. Now if she just become more confident in herself and her relationship with the ML, throw her past relationship away and focus on her job and being happy. her character will be way better. That's her real issue.

Oh, that's interesting! I know lmao cause I watched movies and read manga which have truly vulgar, detailed, and kinky sex scenes and enjoyed them cause they made sense plot-wise and had something to do with characters motives and feelings.

In this drama we aren't talking about how vulgar or realistic the sex scenes is though. We are talking about how pointless it was in the plot. I feel uncomfortable when they are out of the blue and don't serve anything. Like they just exist for pure fan service or just because. Like watching a serial killer story and then they show two animals fucking on street in the middle of it as if it's supposed to make sense.

Yeah I get what you mean, I also liked some dramas where the main leads (Or my favorite characters were considered bad or criminals, but I still rooted for them and wanted them to be happy like Hello Monster, The Devil Judge, Boys Over Flowers, Vincenzo, Mouse, Beyond Evil...etc).
I highly like plots revolved around revenge, psychopaths, and similar concepts. In Effect the rapist didn't really get punished, the victim just told him to leave him alone and that was about it, he never got jailed or anything.

I didn't say people are gonna go around raping people after watching rape scenes. What I meant is that sometimes some really non healthy behavior might be viewed as something romantic by watchers cause they keep being used in dramas. Like in straight dramas when female characters beat the crap out of, slap, and kick the male leads whenever they are upset about the stupidest reasons. When Male leads grab the female lead and drag her somewhere by force, yell at her, and try to boss her around in name of being in love with her...etc
In BLs when the top/seme force himself on the bottom/uke and do sexual stuff while he isn't conscious for example. The people who make these dramas themselves admit that these things are wrong and that's why in recent dramas they try hard to stop using these tropes and make the plot as clean and healthy as possible.

I did personally see people who would view these things as funny and romantic while they aren't really the way they believe to logically. It's true so many bad things happen around the world and people don't get punished for it, but do we have to agree with that? Of course not. I love sex scenes and would enjoy them no matter how kinky they are as long as both sides are consenting and enjoying it.

About the movie, no, I do like that the man didn't punish his wife for something which isn't her fault (Which happens in places around the wrold sadly) and they raised the kid (Who also doesn't has a fault) with love and care. You don't seem to understand my point of view, I just said that such scenes shouldn't be considered sexy or romantic. You said yourself the scene in the movie was awful and graphic, that's what I want. Not them using sexy music and giving a romantic vibe to the moment. In HIStory, yes the younger brother raped his brother, his brother was also traumatized by it for a while and the younger brother even dared to tell the parents about it proudly. Then they are all okay and in love?! Which part of that sounds good? I don't get it personally, but if you like it then that's fine with me. Falling for your rapist, no matter what is something I wouldn't really agree with no matter what. If the older brother didn't want his brother to be punished or thrown in jail for it then that's his issue, but them becoming a couple is what made me shudder.

Yes even if it's a drama I can shudder at some disturbing moments. Just like people who watch horror and gore then get horrified by it. Dramas are supposed to invoke feelings while you watch them, either negative or positive reaction.

All what you said is right. Even in my country many parents and relative think they have the right to control their kids and tell them how to live their lives. When to marry, when to give birth, when to do this and that...etc and it gets on my nerves greatly! I also got attacked for mostly saying negative comments about the drama Forecasting Love and Weather. People attacked me as if I attacked them personally first. I just told my honest opinions about the drama and never insulted any of the watchers or said people shouldn't or aren't allowed to watch it just cause I dislike it. Like seriously why can't they just ignore my "overly negative" comments and move on. I also get attacked for saying positive comments about some dramas. Like at this point idk what is considered okay by these people standards.

I couldn't bring myself to watch more than 4 or 5 episodes of Eternal Love. The only reason I watched these episodes was cause I liked the demon/ghost prince and that's about it. Everything else made me hella bored so I dropped it.
I enjoyed I Told Sunset About You though, the first couple episodes were a bit boring, but it got better afterwards.
King Eternal Monarch was awful to me. Only watched one episode for Woo Do Hwan and still couldn't handle the cringe. Yeah I liked his character but the rest of characters were meh to me and I honestly not a fan of the actress playing the FL role.

I watched CLOY, but I do agree that the ending wasn't happy for me.

After a very long time of avoiding this drama due to me not being into plots that heavily focus on female royals fighting each other to gain the king love type of things...etc I finally decided to give it a chance, especially since I like Kim Jung Hyun and I wasn't disappointed at all. I basically see no actual flaw in the drama. The female lead is great, the actress is very convincing me with her guy spirit inside woman's body role. Like not even once did it feel cringe or over the top. She knows how to move, behave, and speak in a realistic way. She is also quite pretty in traditional style. Kim Jung Hyun obviously is doing great too. Most support characters are funny and interesting, even the maids. The budget is clearly high and the romance is cute, kiss scenes are well done. The cinematography, outfits, sets...everything is great! Totally worth the watch. I started yesterday and now I'm already on episode 9 without realizing.

Making rape and non consent as sexy moments that watchers are supposed to enjoy and desire. Some people end up thinking that is what being romantic and in love is all about which is disturbing, so having some non toxic plots can be a really good thing at times to make everyone know how love should be.

A good example of what I mean is The Effect (Thai BL drama). It super dark, revolving around an obsessed top and rape scene, but it didn't make it sexy, instead they made it scary and the ending was depressing to show how such actions can ruin someone's live and mental health. Meanwhile in dramas like HIStory 4 Close to You similar thing happened and the couple ended up together happily as if nothing happened...that made me shudder.
I don't mind tragedies as long as they are done well.

I get it, thanks for explaining and the suggestion! I understand what you mean. I do want to give this drama a chance, in hope it gets better (Since I love Song Kang, I finished some dramas I didn't like at all like Nevertheless and Love Alarm for him, still gave the dramas a low rating lmao). But if in next 3 or 4 episodes Forecasting Love and Weather don't get better I will just give up. The problem is that, it's hard to find a really good show to binge watch easily so sometimes you just want anything to pass time with.

Reading 1000 pages as if it's nothing sounds cool honestly. I can read hundreds of chapters of Manga, but I don't read novels/normal books. I instantly get sleepy when there are no pictures. It's kinda childish I know lol

I only consider them toxic when they hate on others personally. If they say negative things about a show or something of the sort then that's fine. It's their right. You can also ignore the opinions which you disagree with or have a mature discussion to share point of views with them when they are not being straight up rude.
It's when they go out of their way to curse and say awful words to the fellow fans/watchers/non fans...etc that's when they deserve to be called attention seekers and must be ignored.
I never use block option, I just ignore them completely lmao that will probably agitate them more.
