The ending of ZBW was so satisfying. He died from the thing he wanted for DECADES. TLOZH is such a new thing to me. The ML didn't know how to fight!!!! But here had so many things to do with fighting. And he won without fighting physically!!!!! Even ZBW died from illusions. So fresh, loved it! And, even though he was revenge driven, he was such a sweet boy at the beginning. It's hard to find someone that won't disregard others while looking for their revenge, but even the enemies family members he helped, cause he knew that their parents were the ones at fault. Oh, I'll surely miss this drama

After 8 months I decided to come back and finish it, and it really is a drag. I managed to watch 25 eps back then, but watching the remaining 15 will be a difficult task I'm only here because of Ding Yu Xi, he brings quality to the drama The drama could've easily been cut in half, the cases are way too boring and slow

Exactly. Da Qiao was a simple woman that only wanted to live with her loved one. She didn't know how to live alone. What would happen to her if her husband died? How would she live alone with her child? Her father would treat her child like a puppet. She was a strong woman, she fought for her husband twice. When Man Man asked her to ask him to fight, and when Liu Yan was forcing Bi Zhi to fight for her. I loved Da Qiao!!

Exactly!! And it's so fine to be a coward and selfish in her situation. Her husband's life was on the line. Bi Zhi also put people's life on the line, even Wei Shao's, for his wife's life! It's totally ok. Even Man Man understood it, although they could never go back to how they were, cause they had to side with their own family
The drama was so complete. I also loved the verse at the end referring to us It had sooo many details so I understand the rushed ending. But it tied all the ends so I loved it It was beautiful, some parts were very sorrowful, but still beautiful. I actually felt sympathy for Da Qiao, from the beginning she never wanted Bi Zhi to command an army. She fell in love with a stable man, and fled with him. All of a sudden her cousin, Man Man, asked her to make him take Boya. I also understood her when she told Man Man she couldn't sacrifice him, she never wanted him to be putting his life on the line. And, eventually, she died for him. She loved him too much to be betting on his life. The very same thing she told Man Man she did herself. She didn't want Wei Shao to die, so she didn't want her husband fighting him. The only way to stop that was with her dying. It was very sad, but she remained a faithful wife till the end.
I felt SO sad for Xiao Tao. She never wanted anything fancy, just for her loved ones to stay with her. Wei Liang dying was so sad, he had no weapons on him to fight those soldiers, and he needed Qiao Ci to get out of there and alert the others. Well, Xiao Tao gained 3 brothers, and they got a sister🥺
Anyway, LYN's dramas always gives me such a joy. It's always sad and with someone dying, either him or his companions (someone always dies), but quality +++++++++++. I think this is my first drama with Song Zuer and it was a terrific experience seeing her acting, she's sooooo natural. I definitely wanna watch something else with her as a FL.
Why were those people at the crime scene without covering their shoes? Why was the girl's teeth sooo clean after all of that? Guess I'll have to just watch and close my mind 🤡

I actually thought the palace had something in it. Synopsis don't usually say everything. But people dying inside the tomb was definitely not something I'd expected
