The grandpa and the daughter didn't appear during the drama. They didn't have any proximity with the leads. The grandmother was a closed person, she was afraid of being killed, even though she got better. It's understandable that she doesn't wanna go out, she's used to it.

The dead people were the ones that made the FL grow, the last person that helped her grow as a person was FYX. Even her brother helped her grow, cause she managed to feel sympathy and love towards her siblings, even though they hated her. She didn't want them to die. One of the processes of her growth, was her understanding of her own feelings. Every person that helped her grow died, only FYX hadn't (but was going to)

Woooow. I love his acting, it's actually amazing to be able to witness him growing. I watched a drama of his with Tian Xi Wei and he was quite stiff there, but his acting kept growing with his next dramas. Oh, I love when actors are eager to get better🥰

I liked her voice more in the extras than during the drama😆 her voice is so beautiful. I can understand him, tho. Changing to an open ending is better than giving a sad ending, considering so many people engaged with the drama. But I think I'd have loved it even if it had a sad ending, it's simply beautiful

I agree with you. They could have just made FYX dress according to them. With red clothing as it's a festival. But they decided to make him wear a pale blue colored clothing, just like those dead people. It's definitely an open ending with an after-ending sad ending
