It is the editing. They had to cut a lot of scenes. That's why it's so rushed.
While I understand wanting to build the romance, I feel like they're taking out the important aspects of XZ. He is just a general for now, what about his family? Everything he wanted to do in the beginning? I feel like his investigation became a side thing for him. Kinda sad tho

Yep. It felt good, since it wasn't rushed. But now they're rushing everything. I feel like I'm seeing 200 things in just 2 episodes. It's just too rushed. CY is having to grow and we can't even understand how her mind is going.
