Lol, I started this back when it was released and I stayed till the very end (when all the eps were released for VIPs). I truly loved this drama, enough to NOT watch the express in pirate sites and actually wait. I want to give all my love to the ones that made this drama possible. I actually felt quite tearful when I saw LYR say that no one ever considered him for the main role. And now he's receiving so many praises for his performance, after fighting for roles for so many years. I hope that this drama is the door that'll help LYR on his actor journey. God bless him, and you all ❤️🌸
Though the emperor was a bad husband and bad father, he was a very loyal friend. I hated that he wanted to kill the empress just so she couldn't rise like Wu Zetian and even drive his own son to death Also, even though he did plan all of this from the beginning, if it weren't for God's blessing, and DZ, Song Mo would've long been dead. Not only him😅 Oh, my, God. The judgment Song Mo asked was too much👁👄👁 it's worse than death. And did SH really love An Su? Maybe cause she was the only one that showed kindness to him. He should've done the same as SM, given up everything to protect AS.
After many poisoning cdramas this year, FINALLY an antidote 🙌🙌🙌 cute for the emperor to have given it to him, even though it costs his own life

If you wait a little bit after the ep ends u can actually see the previews in the eps. Like 3rd ep for exemple, around 20 seconds after the ep ends you can see the preview for 4th ep
I don't like talking about these actors appearances. But it you all take a look at her pics in Almost Lover she's skin and bones, literally. Normally we address malnourishment by looking around their neck, arms and legs, but we can actually see the structure of her bones on her >face<. She had baby fat around 2 years ago, and now we can see her bones from all around her body. She's a really beautiful actress, and has always been. Recently someone addressed this to her and she responded that before they didn't find her pretty either (something along these lines, those people are really harsh). But I'm really concerned for her health and well being, being extremely underweight while working such a tough job like this is terrible for anybody. She's young and has many things to do, but unfortunately this (continous weight-loss) is taking a huge toll on her...I hope the people close to her help her make up her mind to care about her inner health more than her outward appearance

I am sure this emperor has it tho. That his own son and his empress are slowly killing him (with the medicine), and that youting has an army just for treason and to get the throne from him. There's evidence (presented many times by Yan Tang) and witnesses 💁♀️ But now that you've mentioned about the dynasty I kinda agree with you. Ming Dynasty's rules were different from the others and the emperor can't be as ruthless. But this guy here has enough proof to take out half of these guys (later he just need to replace the rest)
Ep 31 Ik many dramas have plots like this, the emperor is the ruler almost only in name. They have many proofs that the second prince is raising his own faction to gain the throne. And they know the empress is poisoning the emperor If this were JOL, that emperor would've long killed the empress and the second prince (as he did with Fan Xian's mother). This emperor here has a lot of proof regarding many people but he's not doing anything, sincerely. He has physical evidence and witnesses. Is he waiting till SM becomes like Duke Ding? Dead? I think they are planning something, the emperor, SM and the crown prince. But seriously, if he's the emperor he should cut things from the root before it flourish. He has the power to do so as he is the emperor.
