LMH is a good actor. I think the problem here is his character, he's a dummy 😄 My favorite LMH drama is The Legend of the Blue Sea. THERE you can totally see the range of his performance (he played 2 different characters). When he cried I cried when he laughed I laughed yk.
I don't. She has distrustful personality cause of what has happened to her with her family and her ex. Mudan has been reassuring her and teaching her all this time. Since she chose this (and based on the preview she really thought he changed), she should bear her own responsibilities. I hope Mudan forgives her and Shengyi really changes. Cause she only started doing business with Mudan as a escape, not a change. She should change her mindset and think of her well being. If it were someone that was in an emotional attached relationship, I'd feel sorry. But Shengyi was sold by her family and was always hit but her husband. She saw him bring captives all the time (she told Mudan). Mudan has been teaching her many things related to this and she even knows that Mudan went through something similar as her. Shengyi went ahead with this decision cause she wanted.

I found it strange as well. She said her Kang Jiyun is way out of his league (viki translation). Why? Cause he has a daughter and is a single parent? Cause the only place where he can work is her company (not even his fault)? Earlier she was selling him like fries and rn he's out of her league?
I don't feel sorry for Shengyi but I do hope she and Mudan can remain being friends. Shengyi never wanted to marry her ex, she said it. She told Mudan about her family and how no one cared about her other than her younger brother. She suffered to break free and now she got married to that guy again. She was free but decided to take those shackles and imprison herself. It's not emotional attachment cause she never liked that guy, she was always lucid about her family being the worst. She was doing business with Mudan and living a good life. She needs to be responsible for her actions 💁♀️
The way JCY is acting is terribleeee (towards the FL). But that's super duper reasonable, finally!!! In many dramas the MLs always acts differently towards the FLs. JCY had this admiration towards the FL from the beginning but that wasn't love yet. So he doesn't give food directly to her mouth, he teaches her how to feed herself. He plays around with her feelings and all. While he, himself is falling in love with her. And it's SO beautiful. It's hard to see a couple slowly falling in love. Love doesn't always happen to be at first sight, normally you get to learn more about the person and get used to them, and you'll be slowly falling in love. And it's sooooo good to see it here. I seriously love seeing characters falling in love. I hate when they simply wake up: Oh, maybe I love Johnny Doe💁♀️

She's definitely caring. But people have done many wrong things towards her and now she doesn't know how to reciprocate things. When her friend (and staff) brought the ML to be her secretary she didn't say anything towards her friend, only towards the ML. And she actually hears her staff out. As the doc said, she's sick, so she can't even remember people's name. She's a bit a apathetic too because of her sickness. But it's repeatedly shown that she's caring. When she saw that the ML has a daughter she decided to give him a chance. When she sees that the candidates that she's searching are needing some things she'll do anything to help them. Even when she met ML's daughter and noticed she didn't know how to read she actually played around with her (the girl was eager to see her again and show she can read). Many many things has shown she's caring but is just sick, tired, overworked and traumatized. God bless the poor woman
Now that LC is gonna marry the princess, he sure is learning about the world. He lived in a closed space and didn't know a thing about the political world. Well, now he gets it😄

She's not exactly cold-hearted, just a bit traumatized from many things. She's actually a good person and that's noticeable throughout 1-4 episodes. She cares for people (good people)
