Whoever said Wan'er and Fan Xian didn't have any chemistry definitely needs to rewatch this until you notice it. They seemed like a married couple from the start, their relationship was so mature and pretty steady. There're too many episodes, so I'd love if there was a compilation of only their scenes. I felt so happy watching them, I sincerely love this couple🥺😍

Yesss. I also loved how they differentiated how a child hits the drums and how the adults hit it. And the emotions in XH's eyes were tangible 🤩

That drum scene at the 22nd episode was ABSOLUTE CINEMA!!! I had goosebumps all over my body, that scene was HUGE. She was hitting the drum, while his flashbacks were appearing, the people hitting the drum... AMAZING!!

His wavy hair is SPLENDID. It seems so silky, and it's grown. I loved that they paid attention to this detail, his hair has grown😍

I was so nervous and suffering at the second part of season 1 that I'd totally forgotten that JOL is supposed to be comedy😄

I'm seeing him with new eyes now that I'm more into season 2. He continued being handsome😍

I was shocked when I started s2. He's toooo skinny. Where's his fluffiness, his cute cheeks

I lost it at the 1st episode of s2. Her mother "why do you think he isn't dead?", Ruo Ruo then answered "Cause he promised me, he won't die" while laughing as if she said an obvious thing 😄

I'D LOVE TO MENTION, that even though XFF was soooo close to him, and even calling him handsome, and almost kissing him, XIAO HENG PUSHED HER (gently) EVEN THOUGH HE ALSO WANTED TO KISS HER

She's true to her character 😂 we know what she wants to do, and she does it openly

Their scenes are sooooooo good. I feel nervous all the time. I keep giggling😁
17th episode and 19th episode are my favorites (but I love all of them!!!)
How can they have such a great chemistry🤩

Also, I love that they put a 9th level woman. There are loads of men, but having Haitang there is pretty good. Also, she has so many roles, I loved it. And I love that the women here aren't damsels in distress (which I also don't have any problems with)

I find it disgusting!! The fact that Gao Da and Wang Qinian were pushing him to Si Lili and Haitang knowing he was engaged to Lin Waner. It's disgusting!! Obviously, my views are different from those times. But Wang Qinian has a wife, and he loves her. He should've considered that before joking with Fan Xian. Thankfully Fan Xian only has eyes for Waner

I was afraid of him getting together with any of them. It's actually pretty normal for these types of dramas to add these things, unfortunately. Also, that was my opinion based on 35th-36th episode. He was way too close to Si Lili. And my biased opinion about Haitang. Then, I saw some spoilers about the novel.
Now I'm close to finishing season 1, and my love for this drama came back (special thanks to ArbazAkhtarHighOnShowbiz)
