I had decided to stop using piracy and all, I even bought some yearly plans (for Viki and Crunchyroll), and I was paying Netflix, Disney (and Star+, cause they're separated here), and some others. But since they were cheating us, by not releasing the dramas or releasing way too late, I went back to piracy with some dramas 😄 Now I only bother to have Viki and Netflix

I can relate 😣 I'm from Brazil, here even Netflix plays with us. For exemple, there's this drama called The Atypical Family that's releasing since the start of the month, but Netflix will only release it at the end of the month (May 28). Soooooo many dramas are like that, whether it's on Netflix, on Disney+ (here we have Star+ for dramas), and others. Though, Netflix and Disney are worse here cause for Viki we can use VPN for exemple (though some dramas they do, indeed, release later but on the same day). International viewers have been suffering a lot😄

I'm in South America, and most disney shows aren't available. They should seriously stop buying those rights if they're gonna release it only in North America.

I'd also forgive them, I wouldn't stay with them anymore, but I'd forgive. Maybe that's my nature as a Christian, but I wouldn't let the other person's lies get to me. If I came to know the truth (if I were him), I'd forgive her and say bye bye😂
But I believe that staying with someone like this would only bring pain, because even if they don't lie anymore, in my heart I'll always be doubtful (I think this is how people that stays with the liar feels, I've seen some people like this)

I'm loving this show alright 😂 I just said that because I find it difficult for me to keep shipping them since their relationship's been made out of lies.
And I find it quite refreshing to see a red flagged FL, it's a change. Her character is consistent, and I've seen her subtle changes, she did try to stop scamming his family after all (her 'mother' gave her an ultimatum tho)

Reading the comments I'm starting to believe some of you forgot there's gonna be 12 episodes, not 16. Ofc things should happen in a faster pace, the plot is rich but the number of episodes is too short

I was shipping Gwiju and Dahae till now (ep 4). BUT, I just can't anymore 😭 she's USING his ability and what he told her to con him. Like, she literally just brought the marriage form and told him his future self gave it to her. Also she used his past with that fire that happened for her own sake.
When he finds out that everything she tells is a lie it'll be HUGE. And if it were me (in his place), no matter how much I love someone, I'd never stay with someone who lies THIS much to me😭😭😭😭
She's gonna be soooo sad when she realize she's liking him, when she realizes that she's gone too far with her lies. Even if she tells him the whole truth, nothing can ever repair this😂
The only happy ending for this drama is a sad ending

I understand your point with Lusi, but your experience is different from many people, really. A whole lot of people, as we can see on twitter (X), reddit, and even here on MDL, said they started it because of ZLS, some said they started because of CZY. I wasn't into cdrama world so I didn't know about them, but I heard of HL because people that liked ZLS and CZY kept talking about them and I happened to see an edit of them on Twitter (X). I came to know ZLS's dramas thanks to those people that kept talking about her.

And I agree with you a 100% on the last paragraph. I love BJT as an actor, and I also didn't finish My boss (I plan on finishing it since it was cute). The only drama with ZRN that I've seen was My Boss, and I found her adorable there. I felt like she played the character the way it was supposed to be, a coy, shy and tsundere girl, also quite selfish. I didn't like the actions of her character, but I liked her acting. I haven't seen any other dramas with her, but some people here said she can play sad characters well. Maybe she'll do a good job

I understand what you mean. I came to know HL because people kept talking about Lusi. I was a kdrama fan, I did watch some chinese dramas before but never became a cdrama fan. If I tried again with HL like you did I wouldn't be here I think😄 I like HL but not as much as other people, I loved the last episodes and that's it. It was dragging me till the second half. I saw that many people learned about HL because of ZLS or CZY, people went crazy. LS was already famous because of the ancient dramas she did. CZY was a rising star, he had some famous dramas (mostly among cdrama fans), but his appearance helped him a lot with boosting HL, we can't change this fact

I didn't know about that (FF being the most popular novel). I find the story more captivating than HL (reading the synopsis) but that's because I spent half of my time watching HL with guilty because SZ was way too young for DJX (later it became acceptable) 🤣 praying that this drama is as successful as it's predecessors (HL and WIFTY)

I also liked Hidden Love because of the story, I didn't know about ZLS and CZY back then. WIFTY pulled me to cdrama world. But I saw that most people were watching the drama (HL) for the cast. That's why there's so many people complaining

It's not just Miao Yi's cuteness. She can dress herself in normal adult clothes. The overall image (clothes and personality) of HL's match with Zhao Lusi, but it doesn't fit Miao Yi's, it's the feeling and the personalization of the character. Also, I believe HL became famous because ZLS and CZY are famous😅 WIFTY was released around the same time, and even though it was successful, it wasn't as much as HL, and that's because of the cast in HL. FF can become successful, but that's because a lot of people will come because of HL and because of the cast (specially BJT)

It wouldn't fit Miao Yi's image by making her 'copy' HL's Sang Zhi
