your comment is pushing me to start this drama. I really hope I will enjoy this drama as much as you did! Seriously…
I agree with you. I've started, and dropped, countless new dramas and they can't keep me. But seriously, give New Life Begins a try. It's funny, cute, the story is awesome, the flow is pretty good. And the characters are soooooo adorable 😍
This drama was so legendary. It wasn't on my plans to watch it, I decided on a whim. But... it's been a long time since I felt so fulfilled while watching a drama. Everything was great, the story, the characters, the development. Everything was top notch. It was SO funny, SO cute, I became easily attached to some characters. I'm so grateful, and happy, that I started this masterpiece. God bless the ones who wrote and filmed this.

Eventually, the CY colleague will found out about her relationship with QH which will spoil her working environment,no…
Well, that's awful. She should be firm, just like she didn't tell anyone about her coworkers relationship, and tell them that workplace is workplace, she is still an employee and anything they might have should be dealed with the person himself. It's unjust for CY to stop working there as a lawyer because of some 'airbrained' people🥲

I feel like their relationship was quite rushed. And it's 100% the writer's fault. They had enough episodes, but they didn't do anything for CY. She admired QH, and it's clear this is the reason she agreed to date, mistaking it for love. She probably likes their cute relationship, but she's always the one receiving, even minor things like sweet talk, skinship... I find their relationship cute, but because QH is trying so hard to be a good boyfriend

I think QH should tell WJ that he's dating CY. They don't need to hide it from him, CY already told her sister about it after all... WJ is like a brother to QH so he deserves to know, specially since QH only got to know CY because of him
25 episodes are out still no kiss. 1-14 no romance, she melts with him just being nice. 15 some what romance or…
In my opinion it's actually okay for them not to kiss rn. They don't really need to. Let them enjoy their relationship, deepening their feeling, it's cute. Again, it's my opinion
Qian Heng made my heart go ba-dump this episode 😍 the situation was sad, but the way he protected Cheng Yao, not only physically, but with his teaching too was 😍. If I were Cheng Yao I would've told him before meeting Tang's assistant, but I know the traumas Cheng Yao's been through, so I get why she didn't tell him. But she did what she could in her situation, she filmed it. Although she didn't tell QH what happened, she still did something even in the midst of her traumas, that's commendable 🥰. I hope she learns from this and gets to forget about what happened before
Lol, yeah she's a very emotional & sensitive person to be a lawyer, hence why I find eventhough QH seem to be…
I was asking myself "who is this?" at the beginning of episode 12. She totally changed after her sister threw some sense on her. And I loved that! Even QH was surprised. Now I have high hopes for her, hoping she learned from this. And yeah, QH has a LOT of patience 😅 not only at work, but outside too (with his family, with her bringing a dog home, with everyone around him). I need some of his patience. We had My Journey To You, A Journey to Love. And now we have A Journey to Being a Lawyer😃🙏😍❤️
AGAIN Cheng Yao is letting her emotions interfere with her work. I guess if she had to defend a murderer in court she wouldn't. WHY study law if you're not gonna act like a lawyer? Only "good" people deserves a lawyer? As a lawyer she HAS to work with people in the wrong too!! What if Dong Min is gonna lose some of her inheritance, the child in the mistress belly hasn't done anything wrong and DESERVES the inheritance. Also, who is Dong Min to her? Before she knew Dong Min she knew Qian Heng. What if being the mistress' lawyer is gonna taint Qian Heng's name? HE decided that HE would be her lawyer, Cheng Yao is only an assistant. Also, Cheng Yao decided that she wouldn't follow up with Bao Rui. Seriously, who is she to decide what she is NOT going to do at work? Why was she speaking up to the mistress in the conference room? She even handled her shredding work to the other lady one episode. If this were IRL she would've been long fired! If I was QH, when she said that she wasn't gonna follow up than I'd say that she wasn't gonna work there anymore either Oh, God, please give me patience 🙏
I'm wondering how Cheng Yao became a lawyer by hearing only one side of the story. She should've gone to Hankuk Law School, seriously... Even if BXM seemed pitiful, and CY was her fan, she shouldn't trust someone so blindly like that, thinking that because she's seen 'everything' about an actress she knows her. She's a lawyer, QH's been constantly reminding her not to mix her feelings with her work, she should do only her part as a lawyer. How could she believe her client like that and defame the other party? As a lawyer?? She's only QH assistant, she doesn't even know what exactly happened other than what BXM told her. Seriously, only 7 episodes in and I can't see CY as a lawyer. And I have a feeling she's gonna do the very same thing or worse🤡
Because we are impatient lol. I understand a little bit of Mandarin and just needed the bad sub to help understand.
I also do, and even with bad subs I was understanding. But I wasn't appreciating the drama as much as I was while watching on Viki. Bad subs are distractions, my mind was busy understanding the drama and understanding the subs 🥲 so I feel @ahgase
Fugui's death stayed unnecessary, he could've survived had he and Yunjiao gotten on that horse instead of talking…
Well, that's right. Unfortunately, till the end no one knows that she is the real daughter of the late empress. They could've made the drama better if they removed unnecessary scenes, and instead used those slots for the plot😅
