I normally hate movies where a character (it's mostly a man) sacrifices his all to a woman living her life in lap of luxury and doing all sorts of awful crimes to ensure her safety. This movie was a little exception as I didn't hate it but all the same ML was too pitiful to be despicable. Go Soo is excellent as desperate Yo Han. Disgusting character here is the FL and her superficial smiles.

Finally got to watch this and really enjoyed it. Many would think FL annoying but I liked her self-centered, full of herself and badass personality. ML was good too.

You seem to have read the book. I still haven't had time to start it. Is it different from the drama? I mean relationship wise. Xu's character was too resistant in the show and gave it sexual assault vibes which were very disturbing. I heard he's much more wiling in the novel, is it so?

Author of the original novel confirmed 2nd season shooting in mid-2019 but as long as I know there hasn't been any newer news or updates about it. The cast was unannounced as well.

I didn't like that drama much to begin with but honestly they messed up with the ending so much. It was too unnecessary and now as I said it seems they want to whitewash it with a 2nd season.

Yes. Apparently the boy (I've forgotten the names altogether) was alive all along and had a rare case of amnesia, so his aunt (who disapproved of their love) faked his death and took him away. The young boy at the last episode is actually him who desn't remember anything.

I maybe in the minority here but I liked Kijima/Kido way better than Kijima/Kuzumi

Trapped 2 would be good as well but like "Make our days count", it had 10 (or 20 short) episodes and ending was much more satisfactory. At the end we know the standing of each character even separation between MC was with hopes of a brighter future.

I've only watched 3 seasons of HIStory so I don't know about other 8-part dramas but Crossing line was too short and ending left many open threads.
