Funny when I saw it I didn't feel it but reading your comment and remembering that scene reminded me of a scene of a TV show that I love so much.....?

I'm not a fan of Taiwanese dramas and haven't watched any completely and only watched this drama under a recommendation, But it's now one of my favourites. I didn't like main plot much and didn't take it seriously but characters' dynamics, chemistry and acting were so great that even of it didn't have any plot at all, still I would've enjoyed it. MC had enough drama to keep up with MCs' customary angst and 2nd couple was pure cuteness, shame they started being mushy at the very end??

I love Rang and Yeon bromance and I watch this for them but I'm not enjoying how in every episode they seem to have a confrontation full of sad back stories and hurtful conversation only to be reunited again. Yeon is like I hate you, I kill you then half an hour later he's rushig to save Rang.

Yes. It's quite possible. Although I haven't thought of the second part, it does make sense that he did it to kind of make an alibi for their appearances. Reasonable theory.
