Yes I remember him too. I said Wangson as an example because he's using it the most. The reason stays the same, showing close affection to an older man who's caring like a sister or mom, someone they're dependent on.

The orginal story is BL. I don't remember correctly but I think Song Heon and Se Kyung were boyfriends or something and that was what he was threatening to expose if SK didn't help him before his suicide. And obviously there's love later.

I still dislike the other slaves and their rebellion plot. Can't even remember their names as everytime I watched I skipped their scenes.

It's not that accurate or very common thing really but can show the deep and close relationship between the characters. As far as I remember only Wangson called his brothers unni and the soldiers and military men still used Hyungnim. It was to show his dependent and spoiled personality and how they mothered him.

You're right! Sometimes they do know their craft! It's good for authors to mature and show this in their later writings too. I've watched all released episodes, I don't think too much about it tbh and feel it's draggy, I'm kind of hard to please, but the dynamic is interesting. At least YouYou is gone. 😅 Let's see how the rest will go.

Yeah. When I watched Addicted, I was deeply disturbed by the one-sided and agressive love scenes. They felt quite creepy, I wanted to read the novel ro feel better, even downloaded it, but didn't hear good things about it then someone told me the novel!relationship is even worse and even has r**e. This story seems like that too. Given how everytime MLs are intimate it's coerced or forcefull I'm afraid of what the book has to offer.😬I've never been a fan of Wattpad tbh, maybe read less than 10 stories and not even completely at that. But I know how the general style and format are like and you're right about their quality. P.S.: It's funny how this has been adopted once already.
