HYJ and JC played daughter and father in law in The Left Handed wife. She was a greedy girl trying to trick a rich man into marrige by getting pregnant there too.
I haven't watched the preview but rather like the cast. I'm afraid if I wait, there will be a lot to catch up. I've already fallen behind in this one. Haven't watched since 40😒
It has all iconic elements of the previous movies, violent fight as a comic relief, lots of stabbing, a lot more swearing, fast pace, not much of a storyline, a single unarmed person defeating a bunch of armed people, even the truth room....BUT at the end something's lacking in this one that makes it less enjoyable than the others.
A large part of it is about his new team. They lack the charisma and craziness of the previous team who went to fight like mad. 3 of them were outed early and those 2 from Narcos weren't much better. That made fight scenes inferior. Ma Suk Du can only do much by slapping people unconcious. He needs some like minded people around.
The villain is good but for all his evilness is stupid, the kind of psycopathic foolishness that doesn't think just kills. It's a wonder how he'd managed to keep his side business a secret all these years.
Despite all of these, I enjoyed it and had a good laugh and I'll watch the future movie(s) too because I love this genre but I wouldn't keep my expectations high.
It would have been such a good show if they packaged it into 30 episodes. They had two subplots about Hwarang…
This high rise in episode count was because of immense success of the drama and popularity of Bidam so they tried to milk is as much as possible with adding recycled plots and like many other dramas doing this, it ended up being dragged so thin.
His little girl even has the fl’s dad’s phone and hasn’t even realized it!! Smh
Band of sisters, 2017. She had it in her bag and carried it with herself everywhere but so late in the drama they finally saw it and asked her what it is. I'm on a hiatus now but if her phone can show SR is involved in dad's death, YH probably would only become interested in his child's plaything in the last 10 episodes, unless something else happens🤪

I won't count on that phone showing up until ep. 100-110🤦🏻♀️😂 In another makjang, a weekly one so around 68 eps., one of the villans' little sister had the car flash memory which showed her to be the culprit of a big car crash for almost all the drama in her bag and she lived with the heroines and goodies.
About your questions, many of them are unanswered ones that can be counted as plot holes too. I think SR and CSJ were infected by the water. HZJ told CSJ it's the essence of the sea and he grew greyscales after drinking that.
My own question is Heng masters and their origins. Did they came about after the infections or they were a demonic cult already in existance and the infected fish just gave them purpose to look for their Lord inside the sea? I'm afraid we'll never get the answer.
I think HLH drowned, he had done his job after all.
Yeah it’s well known they had guns during late Ming dynasty it’s not needed to show the foreign gun runners…
Agreed. Qian had information and I think she wouldn't be as reluctant to share them as Shen Rang so story could process faster. They should've kept her. Personally I find SP's looks to be quite ordinary, but then that's just me and the people around me. As a mixed race she must be considered very beautiful if she's been a child actress and such🤷🏻♀️ So she better keep playing wooden beauties😆. Angelica has a lot of action scenes and different facial expressions which isn't her expertise. If she was played by a better actress maybe she wouldn't be such a sore thumb.
P.S.: Thank you very much for your kind flower reward the other day. I really appretiate it. 🌹
You know the show creators' tendency to thrust a female in every situation to both soften the story and mostly act as ML's love interest. (Sometimes it's done in reverse form) I can't think of any use for Angelica beside that, she's just there to be the only female to a male cast. If she had any idea or the barest information about the situation we could say she is necessary but she's just there to shoot the monster and we all know how effective the shooting is.🤦🏻♀️

There were useless arcs that could be omitted to better flash out the story, but wasted that.
CGI was decent but in the fight scenes especially with the actors they seemed out of place. But I liked the turtle one.
