As you said YJM is very selfish and he always first think of the easiest and safest way to save his own skin which is doing whatever he's told by K or any other more powerful person, that's why he's a two faced traitor as it's show in the opening credit. This drama is sure not for the weak.

I think YJM can and must man up to do something against K but knowing DH's reckless nature and inability to think, it only manages to get them all killed. K threatened Mdm. No and Han Na so YJM has chickened out for now and maybe stays the same until the end.

Actually this is one of those things that when a person is exposed you see lots of clues to their real identity. I didn't remember Matthew's nails ever being bad but in ep. 13 and 14 we saw he had chewed and blackened nails. I rewatched eps. 10 and 11 to become sure of it and although there wasn't a clear close shot of his nails but his thumbs were perfectly normal.

Idk if it's because the real world's happening or something else but this drama made me think about 2 things. First is that how correctly Sengeng never found out his useless master had killed his father and he was still so sad and lost over losing him. It happens many times that people (in)directly responsible for our misfortune ends up getting our love and respect.


The other thing is that keeping silent and/or toning down a crime is as bad as the crime itself. Some practically give the criminals a safe enviroment to do whatever they want with no one to blame them.

I must sit down and try to remember the last time I went from liking to disliking a character this fast, If I ever. Lu Zhi and Sengeng went slickly.

YJM manipilated him to stab him and blame it on KKT, he also believed hom to be behind Mdm. No trying to kill his family and him on KKT's orders. He now easily believes Matthew's lies and is dependent on him....

I won't count on MN's feelings as a mom and daughter. It will be quite a twist if she does something genious for them. MN is a younger version of GLH, even now she's trying to seduce DH and use him to protect herself exactly the way GLH thinks she's doing with Matthew. We also see GLH soemtimes shedding crocodile tears and thinking she didn't want DM to die but is she regretful for real? It's the same with MN, she felt sad her baby died or mom is not presentable, but that's it.


Dr. is greedy, as much as GLH is, her only motivation is Gramps' money. Also, it seems they have plan regarding Matthew and the money, probably thinking he knows where they are 🤷🏻‍♀️Teacher is the same. But as you said the least knowledgable person here. Of course only MN and YJM knew about K, GLH only knew he was the baby's father and Nam worked for that prosecutor.
